Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I have always loved Delta products. This faucet set is exactly what I would expect from Delta. Very high quality looking and the chrome finish just shines. This has everything needed to update my shower. The directions included are easy to follow but there are also how-to videos on their website. The MultiChoice rough is great because you can easily change out the style of the fixtures without changing any plumbing. The shower head has 5 different spray settings. The spray settings go from a gentle spray to a massaging spray and in-between. This is the full package if you are looking to upgrade your showers look.

Installation was easy and only basic tools were needed to complete the job. Took about 30 minutes from start to finish. The quality is great. I love the easy cleaning feature of the shower head. The shower head has different water flow settings and is a water saver show head. Great feature for those who take long showers and therefore waste water.

By adding a new cover plate I picked up at my local plumbing supply to cover the old holes from the hot and cold valves the insulation was a piece of cake . The result a beautiful new updated single handle bath faucet on a beautiful trim plate ,where there was an old 3 handle tub valve. It looks great and my wife loves it !

Will this replace 1700 Delta monitor ?

Hi Digger, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 134900-A-R. Unfortunately, this cannot replace a pre-2006 1700 series without replacing the valve rough. A current 17 series trim can be used with a 1700 series. The new cartridge won't fit, but the rest of the trim fits the old cartridge and valve. If the shower faucet was installed in 2006 or later and uses a MultiChoice valve, this shower can replace it without replacing the valve rough. Please reach out with any additional questions! I bought this product from Home Depot, however I found that the Wall Mounted Tub Spout has a small tunnel/tube that will not fit my galvanized pipe. Please advice what I should do to make it fit my water pipe.

Does the spout slide on and secure with set screw ? My old model does

Do you have a setscrew cover by the shower handle ? The highlighted number of the instruction is 101649 and model numbers are B112900 and B114900.
