Rated 2 out of 5 by from No pressure control The shower head is nice with good functionality. The handle doesn't control water pressure - I've never in my life used one that didn't, so this was an unpleasant surprise. The water pressure is very low, with no option to control it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Major problems with this showerhead 1) There was a significant leak in the seam between the outer ring and the base. 2) The rotation of the mixer handle was very narrow making it difficult to land on a comfortable temperature - had to make very small moves to change the temperature comfortable. 3) the width of the spray is only about 12"; very narrow spray (don't really. need a shower curtain or glass wall to prevent splash to the bathroom), and the stream is somewhat weak (not much more than the rain showerheads) making it difficult to enjoy a relaxing shower. Kudos to Delta for sending me a replacement showerhead to resolve the leak and a new cartridge to make the temperature change more realistic - but I had to do the replacing. No resolution to the narrow spray, as it is the design.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great design style, poor water flow I love the design and the fact that the kit includes the valve. The only problem is water flow. I found a video on youtube that shows you how to remove the inner component that restricts water flow. While it didn't increase the flow/pressure like the other faucets in my home, remove did improve the trickle effect. The initial flow was so bad that I could not use the dual showerhead function because the water trickled out. Delta should upgrade this.

The shower cartridge that comes with the unit is RP46074. If I want to upgrade the cartridge to a ceramic cartridge, is the RP74236 considered a direct replacement?

Does the tub/show trim has deep escutcheon like those of older model for the series 1300/ 1400?  Or do you have any recommendations for a style that has a deep tub/shower trim escutcheon in matt black color or oil rubbed bronze?

I have purshaced Delta 142840-I Arvo Pressure Balanced Shower System. I found it to have low water pressure from the both shower head. Is there anyone to correct that? I have tried adjusting the flow from both heads and still low water pressure.

Can the water pressure as well as the water temperature be controlled with this handle?

I just purchased and installed this produce (142840-SP-I) when I use it there is two of the hold don't generate water stream but just dripping water. It is clean on the outside as it is new. How can I fix that?

The water comes out of the larger head but not the removable hand device.

Does delta make a separate handheld that would held the handheld shower head?  Have a parent visiting that uses a shower seat and wouldn’t be able to reach the handheld because of the height of our handheld.

What is the diameter of the spray head? Will water come out of both spray heads at the same time when the handheld is docked in the larger one?

I am replacing existing Delta faucets that were installed in 2004. I was told that I would need to order an RP19804 cartridge with any faucet I purchase. The Mod # 142840-SPl 14 series shower comes with a cartridge. What is that cartridge number?

Hello Stan, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 142840-SP-I 14 Series Shower Trim With In2ition®. I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. We are happy to help! This trim kit includes the RP46074 cartridge. This is a MultiChoice cartridge for use with MultiChoice valves we introduced in 2006. If you have a faucet that already uses the RP19804 cartridge, you can use this new trim kit, but the new cartridge will not fit your valve. The new handle and the rest of the trim will fit your older cartridge and valve.
