We've enjoyed the faucet for just about 2 years and now the cold water handle is frozen and the hot water handle isn't far behind. We bought this faucet for the quality Delta is known for and expected it to last at least 10 years. Very disappointed.

We installed this after remodeling all three of our bathrooms......looks beautiful but now the handles turn hard and completely come off.....Have no clue why this happened. So sad for two of my sinks. Thought for the price that it would last years but did not. Don't even know how to fix it because everything looks good.

No More Delta For Metexas from
Too much cheap plastic inside
Everything that should be metal is plastic. It has never worked correctly. Instead of securing the base to the counter with set screws or other tried and true methods, the handle base twists to lock in place by 4 plastic raised tabs that slide into metal slots on the base. Of course the cheap plastic tabs easily break off and now the whole damned base spins. The mechanism in the base that engages with the cylinder and which the handle screws into is, of course- plastic. That plastic gear engages with a metal receiver in the handle so you have metal spinning plastic - who's surprised that now the handle is stripped, too. Just a knucklehead design and a nightmare to install. It is not repairable - $150 plus hours wasted trying to salvage this are simply lost. Now I get to buy and install another set. Be assured, the replacement will not be a Delta.

I bought two faucets boat faucets were damaged. It cost me money because I installed it and I needed to go buy a different faucet at night. It cost me $760
Labor and material for no reason I’m very upset. I thought I got a good deal on the faucets, but I did not know it’s damaged and very very upset. Very very bad experience with them. I would recommend nobody to buy anything from them go to different companies.

We have the Delta Portwood Faucet and the drain is a pop-up. Ever since we’ve had it installed which has been less than a year it has continuously leaked. I purchased it at Home Depot and they do not sell any repair or replacement O-rings for the pop-up.

Thank you for contacting us. I apologize for the issue you are experiencing with your Delta faucet. We realize that can be very frustrating and I am happy to assist you! We thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer.
If you have a metal drain assembly, we recommend that you first check to be sure the strap assembly that operates the stopper is properly adjusted and the nut holding the horizontal rod in the drain assembly is tight (snug against the tailpiece). Be sure the stopper is properly adjusted so when the lift knob is pulled up the stopper is allowed to drop down. The stopper is pulled down when installed in the vandal-resistant bail position. If any section hits underneath the counter or sink, the stopper cannot drop far enough to seal. If everything is adjusted properly then check the amount of sealant (plumber's putty or silicone) between the flange and the lavatory bowl itself. (A white gasket is supplied with each non-metallic pop-up to seal under the flange, however, if you encounter a sink with an unusually rough surface, it may be necessary to use sealant instead of the gasket.)
If there is insufficient sealant between the bowl and flange, water will leak out of the bowl into the drain, even with the stopper in the full closed position. Note...water will not leak into the cabinet...it will seep into the drain via the overflow holes in the drain body.
It is possible to determine if you have insufficient sealant by using a rubber plug to seal the drain opening only...do not cover the outside of the drain flange. If the leak continues, there is a need to apply more sealant. A uniform 1/4" round bead of sealant is required under the flange.
Code permits that stoppers can leak no more than a gallon per hour with 6" of water in the bowl.The cap on the stopper is not designed to be flush with the flange. The seal is provided by the weight of the water holding the rubber seal against the flange.

I bought this recertified faucet from Delta. It was shipped with two hot side faucets. Customer svc told me to just remove the handle of one faucet and rotate the cartridge 180 degrees. No matter how I try this, the handle wont orient properly. Help.

To install the stems in the correct orientation, first make sure the valves are installed so that the copper tubes are away from the spout, as shown in the installation manual. Rotate the stop assembly on the stem cartridge to change the rotation of the faucet handle. See here for more information:
