I need a vertical  comercial grab bar. Can this be mounted vertical ? And meet code?

Hello Jbhs, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Commercial 1-1/4" x 24" ADA Grab Bar with Concealed Mounting and I am happy to help you today. You may install this ADA grab bar vertically as long as it is installed directly to the studs and has plenty of support, especially since the center of the bar will be offset. I want to match a bathroom grab bar installed about 10 yrs. ago. Unable to find it in current selection. Can I send a photo to see if it's still available?

I'm looking for a bar to install inside the shower to use as a towel bar. Will this rust?

Can the concealed mount grab bar be installed in a fiberglass shower/tub?
