Grab Bar - Poor Design
The wall-mount design is horrible. Without the hollow-wall anchor plate, the collar that hides the screws will not snap around the base. Delta engineers have been told about this flaw. The installation instructions for the 417xx product line are not accurate because they do not show how to appropriately install the wall mount on a stud. You might think this is simple until you try and install it and snap the collar ring in place...good luck!

Excellent
Looks great in my bathroom! Didn’t realize this is a grab bar when I purchased it. I use it for towels, and it’s very classy. Matches my Delta champagne bronze faucets and shower fixture perfectly. Would definitely buy again!

The available Delta faucet grab bar hand shower mounts can fit 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" grab bars and the 41736-SS is 3" in diameter.
