Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta 41924 24” Grab Bar Bought the 18” bars for the bathrooms & the 24” bar to use, (placed at a 45 degree angle), next to the step leading from the garage into the house…LOVE it! Angle placement makes it useful for various age groups (children to the elderly). Feel that difficult to see step is far safer now for everybody.

Will this finish be durable in a steam shower

The finish of the grab bar will be durable enough to be installed in a shower, however it would be best to install the bar with water proof screws to ensure they will not rust over time. What method should be used to attach the decorative flange ? One of the flanges seem loose and barely stays attached to the back plate.

Hello Alan, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta 24" Angular Modern Decorative ADA Grab Bar and I am happy to help you today. The decorative end post covers should fit snugly over the four edges of the mounting post, where the brackets are not fully squared. Please try to snap the cover over the mounting bracket starting from the top and finishing at the bottom. will the Delta slide mount RP64239 function on this bar?

Will this work with Delta U6300 handshower mount?

Hello, We already have 2x blocking in place and therefore no need for the (1) drywall anchor. Can this bar be mounted directly to the tile & blocking, If yes then the cover plates will barely have anything to grab onto as there are no rubber gaskets.

Can this bar be cut to length for a custom fit?

Thank you for your question, Vmx9! We do not recommend cutting the bar, on model 41924-BL. We have some other grab bars in the same style, that would be 12 and 18 inches in length. Those model numbers, are 41918-BL and 41912-BL.
