Too beautiful to be a grab bar!
99 percent of grab bars look institutional. Depressing and clunky. But this looks just like a towel bar. I keep towels on mine, but remove the towels when I take my shower.

Regarding my previous question about replacing a 41924 grab bar with a 41624 for example, what is the best way to remove the 419 without damaging it or the wall
We had a 41924 grab bar installed in our new shower. Though it is very nice we're thinking that a round style would look better and would like to replace it with a 416, 417, or 418 style. Will the mounting holes of the replacement line up with the 419?

The mounting screws and wall anchor are the same on the 24" Angular Modern Decorative ADA Grab Bar MODEL#: 41924 and the other models.

What is the weight limit for this grab bar?

Can this also double as a towel bar?

Thank you for your question. We recommend using this as its intended purpose as a grab bar. We do have towel bars available on our website. We do have 8" up to 30" towel bars in matte black. Is the product waterproof and suitable for mounting inside a shower?

Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about, 41924-BL! The grab bar will be durable enough to be installed in a shower, however it would be best to install the bar with waterproof screws to ensure they will not rust over time.

Does this type have to be wiped down after every use in the shower like the "traditional decorative ADA grab bars"?

Thank you for your question. I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. We are happy to help!
To maintain the Delta Faucet model 41924-CZ grab bar champagne bronze finish, we recommend blotting dry any water from the finished surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth.
