I'm not sure what I love best about our new Delta H2Okinetic hand shower.  There are so many fantastic features.  I mean, firstly, it looks really cool.  I love the matte black color and the slender, streamlined design.  But the variety of functions is pretty awesome, too.  You can choose from among five different settings and spray patterns to give you the ultimate shower experience.  This shower wand might seem smaller than our old shower head, but it actually covers a greater area, and makes it so much easier for me to use.  As a paraplegic, I sit on a bench to shower, and I usually have to choose between having a stationery shower above me, or using the handheld shower head.  But the H2Okinetic model comes with the stationery head AND the sliding wall bar that lets me adjust the spray wand to the perfect height for me, so I don't have to choose.   I also love how easy it is to clean this wand.  I used to have to soak our old shower head in vinegar to clean the calcium build-up, but with the new Delta wand, all I have to do is wipe away the gunk, and it's good as new!  But I think my very favorite feature might be the "pause" function.  Other shower systems we've had either didn't have this feature at all, or if they did, the water was always freezing cold when I "unpaused" it.  But our new model allows me to pause when I need to, which really helps conserve water, and starts at the same temperature when I resume showering.  No freeze outs!   Fortunately, you really don't have to choose your favorite feature, because this set has it all.  I would absolutely recommend this gorgeous shower set to anybody looking to update their bathroom.

Installation is easily described on the instructions, these are easy and clear to understand. The material feels sturdy and robust! Hoping it will last us a long time

It is very small so it's easy to install it and doesn't take up much space in your shower. It has a lot of pressure and five different settings which makes it perfect for everyone. It also saves water.

This haven't the best hand held shower so far the best part is we can control the pressure and the weight is too light which is excellent choice for my parents and even I order this for my room too. cant wait to install in my room. 100% recommend family and friends this shower. Oh yes the dressing is very futuristic and elegant.

I love how the bar is adjustable so for a taller person you can have the sprayer higher or for a smaller person such as a child you can lower it. Or you can pull it off of the bar and use the sprayer for even a pet. Great product. Love it.

I'm trying to use this hand shower in conjunction with your Ara 17 series shower trim (T17267). Would this require two of your multichoice universal valves? Or will one suffice. If so, which one/ones for copper tubing connection.

Hi, Sam4! Thank you for your question. If you're using two shower components like a shower head and a hand shower, we recommend to use a diverter rough, R11000 in conjuction with the Multichoice Rough Valve body, R10000. The matching diverter trim kit is T11867. Best Regards, Rosanna

Is the slide bar sturdy enough to be used as a grab bar? If not, is there another option in the Zura line? Thanks

On 51140, what material are the mounting brackets? Will these rust?

I would like to use this slide bar hand shower as my primary shower - no extra shower head. Will this model work for that purpose? Want to be able to keep showerhead mounted when showering. Can I angle it down enough? Would model 51552-SS be better angle?

I had seen a comment made, just need clarification. Since this model# 51140-BL is mounted on a "square" slide bar the unit cannot swivel left to right, correct? Only angles up & down and sprays straight ahead on the bar?

Hi Chip, Thank you for your question on the Delta H2Okinetic® 5-Setting Slide Bar Hand Shower 51140-CZ model. The slide mount of this unit is designed to move up and down on the slide bar, it is not designed to rotate (right and left) on the bar. The hand shower while in the mount does slightly tilt back and forth. Best regards, Tanya

What's the spray pattern like?

How wide is the spray pattern? Is it about the width of the shower head, or does it spray outwards for a larger area? Having consistent pictures would definitely help! THanks!

Does this unit need anything additional for valves? I'm looking at using this handheld with a fixed mount shower head and the stryke 14 series diverter trim(with the r22000 diverter rough in valve

The Delta 51140-BL Hand Shower unit, along with the R22000 and Monitor 14 Series Diverter Trim, will need a wall elbow for the hose connection to the valve supply.
