Design Issue
I bought a Delta Essa faucet for my kitchen and 2 Delta 559HA-DST Trinsic faucets for my bathroom. The Essa and Trinsic faucets have similar designs; however, on the Essa faucet, the handle faces straight up for cold water but, on the Trinsic faucets, the handle faces down/out for cold water. Like the Essa, the Trinsic looks so much better when the handle is in the up position (like in the picture for the Trinsic used in the catalogue), but that's the hot water position. Since cold water is used far more often than hot water, I believe that the handle up position should have been used for the cold water position and that the Trinsic has a design flaw. I like the look of the faucets and they function adequately, but the handle issue lessens the faucet's appeal to me and accounts for my rating. I hope that someone at Delta pays heed to my critique.

Disappointing
Had these faucets installed by the plumber a couple of days ago. I’m hey look beautiful, but my designer, the contractor, the plumber and me all said at the same time, “what’s going on with the water pressure and the flow?” It was so wimpy. It would take me forever to wash my hair in the sink, and my hair is short. The plumber looked for water restricters but found none. I don’t know why there’s an aerator in there because there’s nothing to aerate, the flow is so small. The diameter of the stream coming out from the opening of the faucet is around a 1/4”, then tapers to almost nothing when it hits the sink. These 2 Delta faucets are replacing Delta faucets that weren’t as pretty, but worked a lot better. The flow was the diameter of the whole aerator and with good pressure. My total bathroom remodel makes me very happy, except for the faucets. I’m sorry, but the are very disappointing. Can anything be done to make them work better?

Excellent faucet. Sturdy, functions as intended. Just make sure you check if you have a one or three hole sink. I thought I had a one hole, but I needed a trim plate to cover the two end ones.

Record level breaking volume for a faucet
Looks good. Weak flow. But OMG the noise! You can hear it two rooms away. I wouldn’t have thought a faucet could be so loud. Skip this one. I only wish I hadn’t done out my whole room in this line else it’d be gone.

Great product. Looks and feels good. I bought this style because we saw them in a very high end hotel and liked the look. They are not "big" so they don't overpower a small bathroom. For those that don't know the "u" top portion does rotate.

Water flow is super low
He’s a tractive Fossetts but due to the water restriction in them the water flow is just unacceptable. If I was able to return them I would but unfortunately by the time my project got completed I was past the return window. Save yourself the irritation and don’t buy these

Looks good but fundamentally flawed
The faucet looks great and the install was easy, but the design is flawed. First, it has only one mounting screw and a lever on the side. This means that every time the lever is pulled, the faucet is torqued and loosened little by little. Second, the spout swivels 360 degrees which is an invitation to a overflowing mess if you have kids. I removed and the replaced the faucet after a few weeks because of the need to regularly retighten the sole mounting screw. Hot tip - modern style single hole faucets with two mounting screws are available at the local big box for less than half the price of this one.

Great looking and solid!
I put two of the chrome finish faucets in my master bathroom. They look amazing and work great. They polish up very shiny when I clean them. Have had no issues with low or slow flow. And these feel very sturdy. The faucet swings left or right with ease. Love these!!!

Great style. Shows water spots
I purchased this faucet in Brilliance Stainless. It is a beautiful transitional style and I love the way it looks in my bathroom. The 180 degree swinging arm provides wonderful ease of use. It is sturdy and well built. I receive lots of compliments on it.
The only caution I have is to be aware that it is not stainless. This faucet easily shows water spots and must be wiped frequently if you do not want to see them. If not for this issue, I would have rates this product 5/5.

Is it possible to replace the aerator with another that actually aerates the water with bubbles (vs. the smooth flowing water that appears in all the photos/videos of Trinsic faucets)?

How do you control the water flow and temperature with the gear? The lever versions go out and in for flow and back and forth for temperature, but I don't see how these work.

I recently had this faucet installed and the handle is already loose. I can’t find a screw or anything to tighten it. Could you please instruct me on how to do this?

Just installed this product. There is a crackling noise coming from the faucet when hot water is running. What is causing this. Also how do I remove the handle?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 559HAR-DST. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help!
This faucet uses a push-on handle. It is attached with friction, pull it straight off to remove it. The issue is likely caused by water debris trapped in the faucet. Running the faucet with the aerator removed can help flush out trapped debris.
The faucet can also be flushed by turning off the water supplies, removing the cartridge under the handle, using a bucket and towel to redirect water into the sink, and turning on the water supplies. This will shoot water out of the side of the faucet and clear any trapped debris.
If the issue remains, the cartridge may need to be replaced.

What under mount sink do you recommend? How close to the wall can these faucets sit? We get a ton of water leaking from the base!

We do not recommend under mount sinks. The Clearance to Back Splash Recommended is Min. 2" (51 mm).
