Loud but pretty
This faucet swivels and is very attractive, but as others have noted, the water flow is noisy. I am having the plumber return to rotate the handle to the left, which is not intuitive, but I discovered that I use a bathroom sink while holding something in my right hand and want to control the water from the left.

Beautiful faucet, strange flow
Bought 3 of these and one had a really restricted flow. Fergusons accepted the return and the we bought another faucet and it works like the other 2 now. It could be the California restrictions, but the water doesn't seem aerated like we're used to. The flow is supposed to be 1.2 gpm, but I wonder if we got the 0.5 gpm aerator in the units. All of the piping in the faucet is very small diameter so the aerator can get clogged pretty easily. Don't lose the tool that removes the aerator because you can't get it out any other way.

Great look for bathroom
I purchased a pair of these faucets for a bathroom remodel. Loved the clean look and simple lines. Unfortunately the plumber installed them with handle on left hand side which would then make lever push back towards wall for hot water. I had him come back and turn it around. It is a nice solid faucet. When I use it and turn it off the pex piping that came attached sounds like it vibrates or shakes as there is a noise and not a smooth turn off of water with the handle. Hoping that will resolve itself with continued use.

Design Issue
I bought a Delta Essa faucet for my kitchen and 2 Delta 559HA-DST Trinsic faucets for my bathroom. The Essa and Trinsic faucets have similar designs; however, on the Essa faucet, the handle faces straight up for cold water but, on the Trinsic faucets, the handle faces down/out for cold water. Like the Essa, the Trinsic looks so much better when the handle is in the up position (like in the picture for the Trinsic used in the catalogue), but that's the hot water position. Since cold water is used far more often than hot water, I believe that the handle up position should have been used for the cold water position and that the Trinsic has a design flaw. I like the look of the faucets and they function adequately, but the handle issue lessens the faucet's appeal to me and accounts for my rating. I hope that someone at Delta pays heed to my critique.

Disappointing
Had these faucets installed by the plumber a couple of days ago. I’m hey look beautiful, but my designer, the contractor, the plumber and me all said at the same time, “what’s going on with the water pressure and the flow?” It was so wimpy. It would take me forever to wash my hair in the sink, and my hair is short. The plumber looked for water restricters but found none. I don’t know why there’s an aerator in there because there’s nothing to aerate, the flow is so small. The diameter of the stream coming out from the opening of the faucet is around a 1/4”, then tapers to almost nothing when it hits the sink. These 2 Delta faucets are replacing Delta faucets that weren’t as pretty, but worked a lot better. The flow was the diameter of the whole aerator and with good pressure. My total bathroom remodel makes me very happy, except for the faucets. I’m sorry, but the are very disappointing. Can anything be done to make them work better?

Record level breaking volume for a faucet
Looks good. Weak flow. But OMG the noise! You can hear it two rooms away. I wouldn’t have thought a faucet could be so loud. Skip this one. I only wish I hadn’t done out my whole room in this line else it’d be gone.

What is the difference between Diamond Seal valve and Euromotion diamond valve
Thank you for your question, JoCo! The handle movement is different as the Euro Motion style is found on models that feature a handle to the side or at a 90 degree angle and allows for temperature setting separate from volume by pulling out as well as back or forth. The handle for a standard DST model will operate by pulling the handle up then to the left or right for temperature. The RP50587 valve assembly cartridge also has a small switch called the limit stop. This switch can be set to limit the handle movement towards the 'Hot' side. For full operation of both the hot and cold supplies, make sure this switch is set to the left side.

Hi- I have a small space in my half bath where the sink will fit. Due to the room, the faucet does not have much room on the right hand side to be able to maneuver the handle. Is this faucet able to be installed with the handle on the left hand side?

Thank you for your question. The single-handle Trinsic faucet shown in this article is model number 559HA-BL-DST, which has a 1.2 GPM flow rate. The model 559HA-GPM-DST has a 1.0 GPM flow rate and is only available in the Chrome finish.
You can purchase the RP73805 1.0 GPM aerator for the Matte Black model 559HA-BL-DST separately.
