Every Day is a New Happy Day With the Delta 58471, 2 -in1 Shower Head
I love the gold color and the handheld shower that detaches from the main showerhead. I had some difficulty at first learning how to detach and reattach it from it, but my husband showed me how. I really thought it was magnetic enough that it would attach itself, as one I had seen at a neighbor's home and was a little disappointed that it did not. However, I am quickly adjusting to how to work this one and it will be just fine. I am looking forward to learning the other features and how to use them but for now, I am very happy with the simplicity of the handheld shower and the temperature that is always dependably the same! I am quite pleased with my purchase and am showing it off to every friend who visits. It complements our newly tiled shower perfectly.

Great features, beautiful finish!
Strange to report, but I got this for Christmas! Couldn't be more pleased. I wanted a hand-held shower but loved my rainshower head that we had. Hubby found this that incorporates both those things, plus some other settings. Also matched the other polished nickel in our bathroom. So glad he found it. Highly recommend!

No instructions were provided with the package (and I can't find any online) and frankly I still can't figure out all features after a few weeks. . I left it the way the plumber left it, with the handheld attached to the primary shower. I don't know how to remove it or to increase the water pressure, which is low

Overall very good product
I really like this shower head over other shower heads I've had in the past: The H20kinetic feature is great (all other showers feel odd and not as good now); having a shower and hand shower in one without remodeling is awesome; the multi functions and settings are great; and it comes in the finish I want. The customer service with Delta has been perfect. The only issue I have is with the diverter valve. I use a lot of the functions on this shower, not just one. So, the diverter valve get used daily. It has broken on me twice. Each time though, Delta has willing and easily sent a replacement. I'm on my third over several years. The diverter valve is the only reason I rate this 4 stars instead of 5. Because the customer service is so good, and I really enjoy the H2O kinetic feature and multi functions, I highly recommend this product.

Worth every penny!

The pressure drops off just a bit when both the shower head and the hand shower are used together, but not bad. Love the magnetic feature, metal hose, and the choice of sprays on the hand shower. This model is pricier than some of the other Delta In2ition shower heads, but the quality is much better.

58471 is a Great Shower Head!

It is well designed and well constructed should last a long time. The wide choice of patterns an stream flows does a very good job of rinsing off the soap.
I think delta had a very competent bunch of designers on this product.
Would recommend to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Delta 58471 2-in-1 shower head and docking hand held shower after completing a "background check". The reviews were great so I bought, and I have been really satisfied. The kinetic technology spins and uses less water than others while maintaining the feel and warmth of other shower heads. Saves water and energy. The hand shower has three settings which is fantastic for cleaning and rinsing certain bodily areas as well as the usual hand head shower head virtues.
Daughter and son-in-law are remodeling their bathroom and tried the Delta kinetic shower head and hand shower. Both agreed, that this would be the shower head for their new bathroom.

This shower unit was extremely easy to install taking about 10 minutes. All the spray options work beautifully. It was exactly what My wife and I needed without the necessity of changing out the plumbing. Can't go wrong!

Extreme disappointment
Like many others, I was very excited when this product arrived. The 2-1 concept is a great idea, but ideas only go so far. The realty of this product is that it has extremely poor water pressure. Now, before you jump to conclusions such as it must have something to do with the water pressure at my home, it certainly does not. How do I know? Well, compared to the hand held shower head that I purchased at Bed Bath & Beyond for a fraction of the cost of the Delta/Brizo models, the BB&B model BLOWS the Delta model away; it is not even close. And the BB&B model comes with many more settings than the Delta/Brizo models. As others have indicated in their reviews, the removable hand held portion of the Delta model barely produces; it is practically useless. The handheld portion is also very difficult to remove. Needless to say, I will be returning this product & I will continue searching for a replacement. Until I find it, I will use my back up from BB&B. I sincerely hope the folks at Delta/Brizo go back to the drawing board to fix what I (and apparently many others) consider a seemingly defective/poorly designed product.

I bought 2 of the Delta 58471 In2ition 2-in-1 shower heads and they are absolutely wonderful. The hand held wand has 4 different settings and is held in the assembly by a magnetic field. The main head puts out a spray that feels as if your entire body is being soaked. The unit was very simple to install and adjusts with ease.

Good overall product
I bought this shower head to install in my new home. My shower didn't have a handheld unit and I wanted a quick fix without drilling or additional mounting. I choose the product due to the design of the magnetic seating hand shower. I have 4 body sprays and an over head rain shower, so I needed something that would integrate easily without making the shower wall loom too cluttered. It works well and looks nice. The spray production is not as powerful nor feels as luxurious as the other higher end fixtures I have installed.
Installation was east enough. I'm curious to see how the finish holds up to routine cleaning and maintenance.

OOOOH YEAH!
We were surprised that the showers in our (water-restricted California) hotels were so much "wetter" than ours at home.I finally checked one out and ordered the In2itition. Success -- I feel like I'm on vacation every morning... It gets more of me wet, so my shower is shorter. When I clean the tub, the detachable head makes rinsing a breeze.
Super easy to install -- five minutes, tops.
Buy it.... buy it now.

exceptional shower system
After moving into a 9 year old home, my husband and I decided the shower heads needed to be replaced. I wanted dual shower system but without tearing the walls out, this was not possible. We replaced our builder grade shower head with the In2iton two-in-one shower system and we love it. The H20 Kinetic shower head gives me the feel of much warmer water. The handshower allows me to clean my shower walls conveniently

Great Idea, poor execution
Not enough flow for what I was expecting, quality lacking for what I considered a premium product. the hand held portion dribbles water out literally a drop at a time on one setting, the others are ok but no where near the amount of flow I expected. In order to use the hand held portion the stationary portion valve needs to be turned to at least 1/2 off, where there is no detent.

Worst shower in years
I just got this yesterday & was really anxious to try it based on great reviews. The installation was easy & the quality looks ok but that's all that I can say that's good about it. The spray is REALLY wimpy & spread out in a way that drenches my shower but just a few very low pressure drops hit me. The so called high power hard spray in the hand held part is what I ended up using to finally get enough water to rinse my body & hair, but still barely got the job done. Says it's good for a massage...not even close! No pulsating, very little pressure , & when I tried to use all the strongest settings combining both units it just made the entire experience a very low pressure flow. I can't use my shower caddy with it either! While shaving my legs I was covered with spray so I just removed the middle unit & had to grab it to rinse my razor often. Truly can't remember having such a low pressure frustrating experience in the shower EVER!...& the money I spent on this was the most ever. I don't know if all the units are like this one, but after this I'm done with Delta unless proven otherwise!

Showerhead update
Lets start at the beginning we selected Delta because of brand and design model 58466-SS this unit was a big letdown due to performance, lots of spray nozzles but no force, replaced with model 58471-SS, great idea improved performance but lack of nozzles and leaked right out of the box replaced with another 58471-SS leaks corrected but still lacking lots of nozzles new H20 kinetic is an improvement of original but still needs more nozzles, I recently looked at model 75588 which appears might solve problem with lots of water and H20 kinetic but based on other reviews of poor quality and inexpensive plastic pieces, rubber hose this made me very leary to spend another $79.98. If someone could provide me a model # of a unit that is high on durability, lots of nozzles, great pressure, handheld as well as fixed head with excellent reviews that might change my bad experiences with Delta.

Thank you for your question! All of our In2ition shower heads have a non-metallic shower head and hand shower. Select models, including this one, have a 60-82" stretchable metal hose.

I purchased the Delta 58471 and the instructions say to turn the know labeled #5 in the picture to change from showerhead only, outer rim only or both. There is no knob and there is no #5 in the picture. How do you change?

What is the difference in 58480 vs 58471?
Hi Les, Thank you for your question. Both the 58480 and 58471 are H2Okinetic In2ition showerheads with many of the same features. The main difference is in the styling of the showerheads. The other difference is that the 58480 offers a 5 setting hand shower where the 58471 only has a 4 setting hand shower.

Does this have a flow restricter that can be removed to increase water pressure? If so, how do I remove it?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 58471-PN-PK has a flow output of 2.5 gpm at 80 psi. This is the largest flow allowable by legislation. We do not recommend that you take out the flow restrictor and it does void the warranty if its removed.
