Can this be used in California where there is a maximum flow restriction? I am wondering if the "shared" operation of the shower head and hand shower will be against the code.

I have a fiberglass shower stall that protrudes 2" past the wall surface where the shower head pipe protrudes. Is there a method to compensate for the difference in where the lower mount is, ie: a longer shower head pipe that replaces the existing one?

Thank you for your question, MikeS! The lower mounting post may be exposed up to 2" (50mm) from the finished wall and the lower post of shower column as the escutcheon will cover this area. It says that the arm is 15” and the installation guide has the column mounted 2” off the wall. My question is if the edge of the arm to the wall is 17” or is the 2” for the column mount distance already included in the 15”? I have a 30” x 30” shower.

What finish would you recommend for an outdoor shower? The black matte works best for my aesthetics, would the stainless be better for long term appearance? I'm in northern Ohio. Thanks!

Hi MichaelB, Thank you for your question. The finish on the Delta Emerge Contemporary Column Shower Bar 58810-SS model is not specifically designed to be installed outdoors. They are not designed to withstand extreme cold weather conditions (freezing) or direct sunlight from the sun in the summer months. If you do decide to install one of our faucets outdoors, then please remember that our warranty only covers manufactures defects. Can 15" arm swing left & right to move showerhead closer to the wall or is it completely fixed at a right angle to the wall that water supply line comes out of? i.e. Can pipe coming out top of supply tee twist left & right?

IF NO EXTENSION PIECE FOR SHWR CLMN (4") THEN WHAT IS THE DISTANCE FROM SHOWER HEAD TO WALL OUTLET/WATER CONNECTION ON CLMN ON 26" MODEL? MUST RAISE SHWR HEAD OR NOTHING WILL WORK. I'M 6'2".

I am replacing a Delta brand Shower valve and shower head. given this product configuration how is the water volume and temperature controlled? I have a single valve that mixes hot and cold and sends up to the shower head tube.

As it states that the universal shower columns are customizable, is the shower head and handheld shower that are pictured the only available selections? or is the selections just an example of can use for the column? what's the limit?

Is there a shower arm for this model that bends down sooner than this one. My ceiling is sloped down and the end of the arm hits the ceiling right before it bends at 90 degrees.

Does the water enter the fixture only from the upper wall attachment or can the fixture be reversed so the water can enter from the lower wall attachment?
