Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta Faucets Delta faucets are always a great choice, they are stylish, easy to work on and maintain!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, versatile shower arm High quality shower arm. Sturdy metal vs plastic. Sleek, simple valve at bottom to change between rain head and shower head.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shower column Quality of some items looked week. Assembled well, challenging to change and set temperature

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful but drenches the ceiling easily It's a beautiful product and generally works well....but if you touch the showerhead arm or the shower head while the water is running in the slightest way, the entire arm shoots off and a column of water drenches the ceiling and the whole bathroom very easily. This has happened three times since we've installed the product two months ago. The arm is only kept in place with a small o-ring, so it's not surprising but it's a horrible design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great solution Renovations can be difficult but this shower system makes part of it easier since you don't need to bust into the wall and redo the plumbing to hook this up. Hook into the shower head and add a support screw. That's it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking fixture! This is a stunning looking fixture in our project's black and white bathroom. We have not had the opportunity to use it at length yet, as it was just installed, but it looks fantastic. A great solution if you don't want to commit to a slide bar with a separate wall el. The built in transfer valve saves a lot of money over having a separate transfer valve, in both the material and plumbing labor.

My new shower 58820SS has been installed too high to reach the shower head for adjusting. I would like to install a drop down pipe in matching finish between the Overhead Shower Arm to the shower head. Does Delta have such a pipe about 12" long?

Asked by: nicholas
Thank you for your question, nickva0517! We do not make a pipe that will connect directly to this 1/2-14 NPT threaded connection on the overhead shower arm. If you are able to find a 1/2" male to male adapter locally, you could then use a standard shower arm to drop the shower head down further. The closest model would be U4999 which extends 9" down from ceiling. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/U4999 Best regards, Edward

Just wondering how the lumicoat stainless or regular stainless would hold up to the outdoor elements. Thinking about using this in a outdoor shower setup.

Asked by: Tyler
Hi Tyler, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 58820-PR. Our faucets are not tested for outdoor weather and damage would not be covered by our warranty. A chrome finish would be the most durable, followed by PVD finishes like our Lumicoat Stainless. Matte Black and Venetian Bronze finishes would be the least durable to the outdoor elements. Please contact us directly if you have any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

I just installed model 58820. My understanding was there is a three way feature, hand held, fixed shower head, and a combination of both. When I set the valve in the middle for the combination, I get very little water from both units. Help?

Asked by: Ash in FL
Hi Ash in FL, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. Our Delta Faucet Shower Column 26" Round In Chrome MODEL#: 58820 may have debris that needs to be flushed out, We would recommend removing the shower head and hose from the column and soak them in 50/50 white vinegar and water. Please follow the next steps to flush the lines. To flush the open valve without the cartridge, please follow the directions below. 1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either a 1/8" or 3/32" Allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size Allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off. * Note. If there is calcium build-up at the base of the handle, it may be necessary to soak it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Simply saturate the rag with the 50/50 solution, wrap it around the handle base and place a plastic bag over it. I would recommend do this the night before removing the handle. 2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve. 3) Then you will need to remove the bonnet nut. The bonnet nut is the threaded ring at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise. You will need a pipe wrench or a pair of channel locks. 4) After removing the bonnet nut, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. You may need a small, skinny bladed screwdriver to wedge in between the lip of the cartridge and the valve to help start it out. 5) Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body. 6) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out, much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let it flush for 30 seconds. 7) Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled. then turn the water on once last time before installing the shower head and hose. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions.
