Awesome Addition
This Delta SimpleSteam kit is an AWESOME addition to our Master Bathroom. I never knew a steam shower could relax my whole body and mind so much. It truly is amazing. Installation was as easy as looking up a professional plumber in my area and scheduling an appointment. We opted for the add on of the generator pan and auto drain basically for peace of mind against leaks and/or condensation build up. The system fit in a small space in our basement. The control unit is located handily in our shower. From the shower we turn it off and on, set the temperature and the duration of time its on. I don't know how we were living without this set up! Especially now that its winter time, the steam REALLY helps to open up your sinuses. It is one of those things you have to experience for yourself to know the difference it makes.. We plan on adding another in the guest bathroom, just to keep the kids out of ours....... They love it too! All in all super glad we have this spa like experience in our home at the touch of a couple buttons. Wow, highly recommend.

Very cool!
I have been using my steam machine (as I call it) for a little while now and wow it’s amazing! I didn’t do the installation myself as my brother is a contractor so I had him do it. He said it really wasn’t that bad to install and only took him about a half hour! Now if you want the benefits of a steam room without having to go to a gym or ymca then this should be your answer! I personally have seen my nose being clear again and my skin just feels better all the way around! I highly recommend this! Seriously!

Spa at home!
We had this installed in our master bathroom by a plumber sure it would be a diy project if you know plumbing! If you ike the steam room at the spa you will like this spa in your very own home. Steams the shower and our bathroom! Easy to clean and wipe down. Easy to use and set the temp and a timer and relax and enjoy a spa day at home! Feeling down amd need to relief some congestion this will do the trick! Work hard and just need to relax in a steam room this is it! Enjoy it anytime you need it right at home!

Great steam system!
My husband and K installed this steam shower system about a month ago and wrote couldn't be happier with it. My husband did most of the installation while I helped but it was overall a pretty easy process. The system itself works great. The amount of steam it produces is perfect and I love having the controls right on the wall. It's so convenient and easy to use. The finishes are beautiful and fit on with most any decor you might have. We just love everything about it. I highly recommend this unit if you are in the marker for a steam shower.

love it!
I installed this unit in my newly redone bathroom, and wow this unit is the best! I turn it on and in seconds my shower is filling up with steam. It was a real easy installation with the instructions, per my husband who knows basically nill about plumbing. I love being able to get a nice hot steam after a workout at home! The look of the module adds to my bathroom as well. I love it!

We're so excited to try out this stream unit
Unfortunately, we've run in to a delay at having our steam shower built and installed. Our contractor had a family emergency and won't be available until after the first of the year to build and install. I took photos of our existing shower ; the new shower will be tiled from floor to ceiling with custom made glass entry doors replacing the prefab unit currently in ours.
I'm very excited about this unit as I suffer with year-round allergies and the associated sinus congestion and headaches so using the steam will greatly improve my symptoms and discomfort.
The steam unit arrived in excellent condition. There are several sets of instructions included for both the unit as a whole and also for the steam and unit control modules. It is definitely necessary to have a professional install this due to specifications and for prevention of standing water/condensation/moisture damage.
I will update a review on Delta's website once my project is complete. Based on reviews I've read, this is a very effective, reliable and high quality product!

Delta products are a trusted brand throughout my home, and I absolutely love my new Delta SimpleSteam Steam Generator. I love being able to have a nice steam shower while using less water. I also like that it has an essential oil reserve. This product comes with a lifetime warranty, which is a huge plus for me. If you're looking for a steam generator, look no further!

Simply wonderful!
We built a new master bath; it is a large space, and it was designed oversized mostly for adding resale value to our home but also for luxury and specially for my husband who is very tall. We had the shower area built with steam rated material and the shower is fully enclosed. We put off adding the steam shower generator because we wanted to use a different contractor after having problems with a heated floor. We got busy and put the steam shower on the back burner. When the Delta steam shower became available, we were thrilled we were able to select one from Delta because it is an excellent brand that we are familiar with through plumbing fixtures, trust, and know from experience Delta is committed to quality throughout the life of their products.
Our installation was fairly easy as our bathroom had been designed and built to have a steam shower, all we needed was to coordinate the professionals to install it. We used a plumber and electrician in the installation, and I did have our tile installer come back and cut the shower tile simply to avoid any damage.
All one sees from the shower is the Control Panel and Steam Head. Both are nicely sized; they are not bulky but look understated and sleek. The finish matches our existing finishes and looks great in the shower. The control panel is simple to use and is basically self-explanatory it allows you to set, raise and lower the steam level and displays the temperature. The digital display lights up well and looks nice and is easy read. The generator was installed in a utility room under the shower the generator is fairly small, it runs smoothly and when turned on fills the shower area with steam quickly.
Being a first-time user of a steam shower, the steam feels really moist, it is not dry like a sauna. It feels really good to sit in the steam. Things I have noticed are, it does make my skin feel moisturized and soft. It does relieve my dry sinuses and congestion. It does relax tight muscles. My husband says he finds the stream shower relaxing but I actually feel more energized after using it.
Overall, a steam shower is an optional item we wanted. We really like having it. We did not do the best job of measuring and could have gone with a smaller unit, so a good tip is to measure well. Delta has a nice tool for this on their website. Still, this uses very little water, and we don’t think the electric will be considerable. We are especially glad to have a Delta brand. I feel assured that we have a great product that is well made and will perform well for many years to come. We know from experience Delta has a great warranty and offers excellent support and service. A steam shower is definitely something you have to plan for. We were thrilled to get a Delta steam shower kit.

So relaxing!
We had our plumber come and install this 2 weeks ago and we have been using it ever since. It is amazing!! Where has this been all my life?! After a hard day of work, it just feel so good to sit in the steam shower and relax and unwind. It doesn’t take long at all to start the steam and it looks beautiful installed. My husband says he loves to get in there when he’s feeling a little sick and it helps to clear his sinuses. We love it. It’s worth the investment 100 fold! You will not be disappointed!!

Spa-quality steam shower at any time
I recently installed the Delta SimpleSteam Shower Kit in my bathroom, and it has been a game-changer for my daily routine. Daily steam showers are an incredible luxury and I'm so excited to be able to enjoy a spa-like retreat whenever I want. I'm thrilled with the results!
Installation was quite involved and not something I'd recommend as a DIY project. I hired out installation to a contractor who was handling the rest of my bathroom remodel as it involved quite a bit of plumbing and wiring. I had the generator installed in my bathroom vanity since it was close to my shower and had access to the required water supply lines and power. The kit comes with detailed installation instructions and recommended configuration diagrams.
The steam generated by this kit is exceptional. The unit quickly produces a steady and consistent stream of steam, which fills my shower enclosure nicely. The digital temperature and timer controls are really easy to use, allowing me to quickly customize the temperature to my liking. I've found that steam showers are not only great for relaxation but also for relieving muscle tension after a long day at work or an intense workout. I really like to turn on the steam while taking normal showers to provide extra warmth and make my morning routine feel extra luxurious.

Missing part
I was so excited to receive this shower steamer and couldn’t wait to set it up. I have bad back pain so I really was looking forward to relaxing in a steam shower. I was missing a small white connector piece. I did find it at Home Depot but I was aggravated because I had to waist time to go to store then had to come home and finish. Works good. A little noise but not too bad.

When building our forever home, adding a steam generator was always been on my wishlist. We use mostly delta faucets and luckily they also have the Simplesteam generator. I was worried about installing a steamer due to reliability, but Delta has a limited lifetime warranty to ease my mind. The steamer is a game-changer for your shower experience. It produces a consistent flow of high-quality steam, providing a spa-like atmosphere and deep cleansing experience. The user-friendly design makes it easy to operate and maintain. Highly recommended for a relaxing and refreshing shower!

Luxury shower while at home
I recently how this steam shower kit installed and it does not disappoint. The installation seemed straightforward and easy, but I opted to take the safe route with a professional. Using this steam shower I have noticed my sinuses being much clearer especially in this dry winter weather. I also have noticed feeling more relaxed after using it as well. This has definitely spoiled me with my showers!

Could never show again without steam!
Cannot describe how much I love this steam unit. I built a large custom shower in my master bath and incorporated the steam unit into the design. I went for the whole "total sense" package so we have steam, lights, aroma and sound. It's been in daily use ever since I set it up and both my wife and I are hooked. Although I do occasionally use my shower as a steam room, (I have fold-down teak benches mounted to the shower wall) The real value and luxury to me is in the typical daily shower. No more feeling cold when you are not directly under the shower head water flow. You simply turn off the water and lather up in a warm steamy heaven. I can't imagine what it's like to shower without steam anymore.

Can I use the gold round Control from the other units for the simple steam?
Hello,
You can only use the control that comes with the Simple Steam Kit. The other controls will not work and could damage the system. Upgrade to the Delta Steam Scape or Brizo Mystix generators if you want the round and gold control.

SimpleSteam Kit 10kW. The plumber wants to install it under wife's vanity punch a hole thru the wall run the steam pipe up the wall into & across the attic into the MB down the MB wall & into the MB. Toal pipe ft = 40 with 4 right angles. Will this work?
