Really nice
This steam kit is really nice. It was a little trickier than I had expected to install, but once I got it everything working, it was well worth the effort. It is so nice especially on a cold day to sit in the steam and just relax!

Great finish material
The pictures don’t show the system any Justice as both the controller and the dispersal head feel extremely solid and well assembled.
The most difficult spot for the installation is finding room for the steam generator.

I recently got this Delta Simplesteam kit. We recently remodeled our bathroom and decided to try a steam shower. We did have it installed vs doing it ourselves as we felt more comfortable leaving it up to the professionals. We really love having this steam shower, it is so nice after a long day of work, it sure helps soothe aches and pains. We've also found it to be helpful when dealing with congestion. Definitely a great addition to our bathroom!

Home luxury at its absolute finest!
Since we were all stuck at home several years ago I haveadw a shift into buying more items to make my home the Oasis I wish it had been then. A steam shower has been on my list of dream wants since I went to myfoest country club as a kid. And now IT'S MINE. I can't get over how my this has changed my day to day life. Sooo luxurious and make some feel like a million bucks. I had some minor hp with installation but it was pretty straight forward. I love how small the unit is so it doesn't mess with the asthetic of my bathroom. If your on the fence I suggest going for it. You deserve it!!

Great features!
I got this Delta Steamer about a month ago and I’m so excited and happy I did! It was a pretty decent install I did need a bit of help but overall was not bad. The functions work it’s user friendly. I think the value and quality are up to par. I live coming home from work and getting in my own personal steam room. Overall amazing product

Awesome Addition
This Delta SimpleSteam kit is an AWESOME addition to our Master Bathroom. I never knew a steam shower could relax my whole body and mind so much. It truly is amazing. Installation was as easy as looking up a professional plumber in my area and scheduling an appointment. We opted for the add on of the generator pan and auto drain basically for peace of mind against leaks and/or condensation build up. The system fit in a small space in our basement. The control unit is located handily in our shower. From the shower we turn it off and on, set the temperature and the duration of time its on. I don't know how we were living without this set up! Especially now that its winter time, the steam REALLY helps to open up your sinuses. It is one of those things you have to experience for yourself to know the difference it makes.. We plan on adding another in the guest bathroom, just to keep the kids out of ours....... They love it too! All in all super glad we have this spa like experience in our home at the touch of a couple buttons. Wow, highly recommend.

Very cool!
I have been using my steam machine (as I call it) for a little while now and wow it’s amazing! I didn’t do the installation myself as my brother is a contractor so I had him do it. He said it really wasn’t that bad to install and only took him about a half hour! Now if you want the benefits of a steam room without having to go to a gym or ymca then this should be your answer! I personally have seen my nose being clear again and my skin just feels better all the way around! I highly recommend this! Seriously!

SimpleSteam Kit 10kW. The plumber wants to install it under wife's vanity punch a hole thru the wall run the steam pipe up the wall into & across the attic into the MB down the MB wall & into the MB. Toal pipe ft = 40 with 4 right angles. Will this work?

how far can i run the steamer
Is this a direct connection or does it require a plug? If so, what is the NEMA configuration
This is a hard wire, a 30amp double breaker is required and depending on the layout, a local disconnect may also be needed.

How does this system do with well water?
Can i use a condensate pump for the drain water? Since its not boiling hot anymore i would think it would be fine.

What has replaced the SM- 11? Who is the local dealer and installation company in my area.
Does it have a self-cleaning feature? How do I keep the generator from getting clogged up with water deposits?

how difficult would it be to replace an old Steamist SM-5TC generator and controller with this unit?
The Old SM-5-TC has a larger KW Rating than the 5P-EST04. With the correctly sized unit, the unit swap out is straight toward. The control uses a different cable for connection. So a new cable must be run from the steam unit to the steam room.

I see mention of an aroma well on the steamhead but there's no instructions on how that should be used - how much to put in? what to put in it? how often?
Thinking about purchasing the Delta 5P-EST10-BL steam generator package. Wanted to know 1) how long does it take for the steam to fill up in the shower 2) how quiet is the generator 3) is the "auto drain" option the same as "auto flush" that I'm seeing

The unit will take about 5 minutes before you start to get steam into the steam room. We state that you should raise the room temp by 25 degrees within the first 15 minutes.
We do not have a decible noise level.
THe auto drain and auto flush are the same feature.

Venting requirements? Install vent INSIDE the Steam Shower or OUTSIDE? Any special requirements for either method of venting?

The vent must be installed outside the steam shower. Using a vent in the steam shower will cause the steam to escape the room and the room will never fully heat up.

How can I buy another steam head for 5P-EST-10-PR?
What is the maximum distance the steam generator can be located from the shower? Does it have to be a straight connection or can the piping from the steam generator to shower run down through floor structure and up into the wall cavity?

THe steam unit can be installed up to 50 feet away. You cannot run the steam line in a way that will cause a trap or valley. You can run the pipe up the wall across the ceiling and back down the wall. Once you run the steam line down it cannot be ran back up.

The control's maximum set point is 125°F. The maximum temperature the steam room can reach will vary depending on how the steam was constructed and sized.

On the 5P-EST10 can the heating element be replaced without replacing the tank too?

The Simple Steam 10KW has a sealed tank and element assembly and does not have a removable heating element. To replace the heating elements on this unit would require the whole tank assembly to be replaced.
