When I received this product I was excited to get it all hooked up and start trying to use it. Me and my husband love it. The water pressure was on point and it uses less energy than most. The features are sleek.

Thankful for this during sick season
The installation for this product was a breeze with the installation handbook. It’s heavy and durable. It made my light bill go up mere Pennie’s on the day and when I say we use this everyday I mean it.

A Spa Day Steamer!
This Delta Steamer will should be an upgrade for your bathroom.
But the installation is a challenge. It’s best to install this if you are doing a bathroom upgrade or creating a brand new one, because you will need to get into the back wall to install it. You may have to take the shower panel off unless you can get in from the back side, ( different for each home), this alone making new construction much easier. We’re working around installation so have yet to try it. Soon I hope. It even has a place to add essential oils!
I’ve been told that once it's set up, it will be like spa day right in your own home. It’s like a sauna but not the dry heat.
I really look forward to this! The directions are complete, and look easy to understand.

Shower steamer
Installing this thing has to go in the wall behind the shower but once it's installed the water is at a customizable temperature which is a great energy efficient.

Really nice
This steam kit is really nice. It was a little trickier than I had expected to install, but once I got it everything working, it was well worth the effort. It is so nice especially on a cold day to sit in the steam and just relax!

Great finish material
The pictures don’t show the system any Justice as both the controller and the dispersal head feel extremely solid and well assembled.
The most difficult spot for the installation is finding room for the steam generator.

I recently got this Delta Simplesteam kit. We recently remodeled our bathroom and decided to try a steam shower. We did have it installed vs doing it ourselves as we felt more comfortable leaving it up to the professionals. We really love having this steam shower, it is so nice after a long day of work, it sure helps soothe aches and pains. We've also found it to be helpful when dealing with congestion. Definitely a great addition to our bathroom!

SimpleSteam Kit 10kW. The plumber wants to install it under wife's vanity punch a hole thru the wall run the steam pipe up the wall into & across the attic into the MB down the MB wall & into the MB. Toal pipe ft = 40 with 4 right angles. Will this work?

For optimum performance, we recommend keeping the steam pipe run under 25'.

How does this system do with well water?
It depends on how often the product is used, if there is an autodrain option installed and on the quality of incoming water from the well.

Hello - What is the rated energy efficiency of you 10kW electric steam generation unit?
In general, electric heat is nearly 100% efficient.

The controller overestimates the temperature inside the shower and turns off. The controller was installed away from the heating unit. Also getting both an E1 error code and E3 error code. Does this mean I need to replace the controller?
This has to be troubleshot further, please contact the tech support team at steam-product@deltafaucet.com or 800-394-6478. Questions will be, did this issue occur when it was first installed? Where is the control mounted in correlation to the steam outlet?

How can I buy another steam head for 5P-EST-10-PR?
What is the maximum distance the steam generator can be located from the shower? Does it have to be a straight connection or can the piping from the steam generator to shower run down through floor structure and up into the wall cavity?

THe steam unit can be installed up to 50 feet away. You cannot run the steam line in a way that will cause a trap or valley. You can run the pipe up the wall across the ceiling and back down the wall. Once you run the steam line down it cannot be ran back up.

On the 5P-EST10 can the heating element be replaced without replacing the tank too?

The Simple Steam 10KW has a sealed tank and element assembly and does not have a removable heating element. To replace the heating elements on this unit would require the whole tank assembly to be replaced.
