Thank you for your question, FedericoUY! The 74855 tissue holder is not made of Stainless Steel, this is simply the finish designation. None of our tissue holders are Stainless Steel. Best regards, Edward

this tissue holder, MODEL#: 74855, has pivoting the description. Does that mean the roller that the toilet paper sits on lifts up like a lever for paper placement or does it have that spring tension roller that has to be removed for paper placement?

Yes, this model does pivot which means the roller stays attached to one side of the tissue holder and lifts up so the roller is pointing up and the roll can be replaced. I lost 1 of the metal plates that screws to the wall .

Came without the mounting back plates.  But did come with the screw and wall anchors. Tissue holder 74855-PN
