Hi Keith, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model B112900C. The rotational limit stop is turned counterclockwise for hotter temperatures. Pull the o-ring on the cartridge to a position where the limit stop can be pulled out and rotated. We will be happy to assist you in resolving this issue! I recommend turning off the water supplies, removing the cartridge, and turning on the supplies to flush the valve. This will shoot water across the shower, clear any trapped debris, and confirm the supplies are working. Also, try reversing the cartridge if the hot and cold supplies are reversed. It can also be used as a measuring tool for the hole in the wall as it will be big enough to see the valve under the escutcheon plate, but small enough for the escutcheon plate to cover the hole. If the hot and cold lines are switched, this could cause the issue you are having. If the lines are installed properly then I would ask that you removed the cartridge and rotate it 180 degrees(flip it), the cartridge may have been installed upside down. We are happy to help! The valve used by this shower is, unfortunately, not our MultiChoice valve that would enable replacement with a 17 series trim kit. The dual action cartridge will not fit the valve included with this faucet. A MultiChoice R10000 valve would allow replacing with a 13/14 series, 17 series, or 17T series trim kit, but it would require getting into the wall to install a new valve.
