Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice valve easy to use Nice look and easy to use. Only had it a few weeks. Good price on it. It could use a cover for the set screw hole on the handle. You know over time the build up will prevent easy removal of the set screw

What is the part number for a oil rubbed trim kit that fits this shower valve? Answered by Delta rep that said no it's not available which is incorrect. No way to edit or add information to my original question. PTT188740-OB part fits this valve.

Asked by: tmossa

Why is the water barely coming out of the showerhead? Brand new out of the box and the water pressure going to the unit is outstanding.

Asked by: Mike41
Hello Mike41, Thank you for your question regarding Delta Faucet B112915C! We apologize this information was not readily available to you but we are happy to help! It is possible that flushing the product could resolve this issue. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute. Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. This means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to better serving you in the future. Please contact us directly with any further questions. Best regards, Kyra Digital Engagement Specialist

Asked by: Thomas68
Hi valued customer, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model B112915C. We are happy to help! I recommend removing the showerhead and running the water. This helps flush the shower and check the flow. Rinse debris from the shower head debris screen. Soak in a mix of half white household vinegar, and half water to remove build-up. https://support.deltafaucet.com/s/article/Why-does-my-faucet-have-low-water-pressure-1628028366405 Please reach out with any additional questions! Delta B112915C single handle shower valve/faucet is working at 1/4 volume of water that was previously there. What is the problem? I suspect the cartridge but am not sure. How to check and change the cartridge?

Asked by: Bubba
Hi Bubba, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available for our Delta Faucet Single Handle Shower Trim In Chrome MODEL#: B112915C, and I am happy to help you! Flow issues can be resolved by flushing the valve, to flush the open valve without the cartridge, please follow the directions below. 1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either a 1/8" or 3/32" Allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size Allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off. * Note. If there is calcium build-up at the base of the handle, it may be necessary to soak it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Simply saturate the rag with the 50/50 solution, wrap it around the handle base and place a plastic bag over it. I would recommend do this the night before removing the handle. 2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve. 3) Then you will need to remove the bonnet nut. The bonnet nut is the threaded ring at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise. You will need a pipe wrench or a pair of channel locks. 4) After removing the bonnet nut, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. You may need a small, skinny bladed screwdriver to wedge in between the lip of the cartridge and the valve to help start it out. 5) Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body. 6) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out, much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let it flush for 30 seconds. 7) Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled. The Tub/Shower should then have a good flow. If it does not, the cartridge will need to be replaced. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

Is the included Rough-In Valve with B112915 a universal? Which model? Can I change trim later?

Asked by: Dan4FairTax
Hi Dan4FairTax! Thank you for your question! I will be happy to help. The rough-in for model B112915 is the PTR188700-UN and is quite limited to the number of trim kits that it is compatible with. I recommend installing the R10000-UNBX as the number of trim kits that it can accommodate is vast compared to the latter. Please let us know if you are in need of any further assistance!
