Rated 1 out of 5 by from Instructions are incorrect I purchased the classic 500 curve as a kit with walls, base, and this door. I framed according to the instructions for the wall set and included the double 2x6 studs for the door. Problem is the measurement they give you for framing the walls is not the same as what they give for the door. For the door they show the same outside dimension and a double stud from behind that stud but the math don’t math (see image). Now I have 4 holes in my shower wall that did not hit the double studs at all! Worse yet, I am unsure if I can simply compensate forward to hit my studs or if I need to open the back wall and add blocking. Either way this is non-ideal as I have just spend 2k on this shower and 2 weeks framing and finishing (yeah, all my sheet rock is up, finished, and painted.). Now what Delta? Who is going to pay for this to redo the wall? How do I plug the 4 pilot holes I made that hit nothing? Do I need to add blocking behind the walls or do I need to shift the holes forward an inch (that would definitely hit the studs)? Right now I have a shower stall, with 4 useless pilot holes, and no door. I continue to be without my master bedroom shower!
