On the 3 piece wall unit, do you caulk where the wall unit meets the tub? I heard you don't caulk this area, so that the walls behind the shower walls can drain due to condensation and prevention of mold

What is the reason to apply adhesive to the floor ? Not talked about in the written directions but is in the video.

What adhesive do you use to glue walls to studs

For BEST results, use a hybrid or advanced polymer kitchen & bath sealant and caulk that is designed for plastic/polystyrene, and do NOT use water cleanup. Other types have the potential of lesser adhesion, as well as greater shrinking and cracking over time. Examples: DAP AMP Kitchen & Bath Sealant, or LOCTITE Perfect Finish Kitchen and Bath Advanced Sealant Caulk. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for further assistance. Will the Delta Classic 500 surround work with the Delta Classic 400 curve bathtub?

I have the Delta classic 500 (60 inch W x 32 inch D x 61.25 inch H) 3 piece alcove surround. A plumber did the install and  used a  silicone bead between the surround and the tub. The directions do not direct this.  Is it ok to have this silicone bead ?
