What type of adhesive and sealant should I use when assembling this tub?

Delta recommends DAP 3.0, or Loctite PL Heavy Duty Sealant, if these can't be found, use latex/acrylic high-performance sealants and caulks that are designed for plastic/polystyrene and do NOT use water cleanup. can these tub walls be installed over an existing cast iron tub?

I want to use this surround B66513-6030-wh with Delta tub B10513-6030-wh and install a sliding glass door. Will the door line up with the surround so it's on center with the tub rail and the surround post/column?

I'm unable to determine left panel from right panel. Each panel has two side flanges, however; one side of each is wider than the other side. Please let me know how to identify the left panel from the right. They both will fit on either side.

I have a B66513-6030. When I dry set the walls the sides sit 3/8" taller than the back. I believe it is because the bottom edge of the sides has a trimmed lip that makes it sits high on top the tub. Can I trim that lip back?

How far does the base of the bottom shelf come out? I will be using an existing tub and the top of the tub along the back of the tub is only comes out from wall about 1.5". The corner diagonal depth is about about 4.5"

One of my shower walls is an exterior wall. It has insulation and a vapor barrier. How do I use adhesive to the studs in this situation? Do I remove my vapor barrier completely?

Please refer to page 8-9 of the Installation Instructions. The seams and edges will also be sealed to help prevent moisture from getting behind the surround.
