What is the thickness of the flange? Do you have recommendations for finishing over the flange and up to the surround?
Thank you for your question, Larry! The flange thickness is 1/8" and gaps between the flanges and studs must be less than 1/8”. You can insert shims to fill any gaps and must use sealant on all seams before proceeding. The finished walls that meet the tub surround can be water resistant drywall (green board) or tiled. Be sure to protect your new tub while completing this step.

Does the hycroft surround sold at menards need to be caulked anywhere? Thanks

Can this be used with shower doors? If so, which ones??

Model B66513-6030-WH is a bathtub surround which can be used with the classic 400 Curved bathtub shower doors, B55910-6030-SS when used with the Delta Classic 400 Curved bathtubs, model numbers 40114R or 40114L. If you are looking for a shower only installation, you can use model B67513-6030-WH instead along with the shower bases B78513-6030L-WH or B78513-6030R-WH with a standard shower door.

Can a tub door be used with the hycroft tub surround?

Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Hycroft™ ProCrylic 60 in. x 30 in. Bathtub Surround and I am happy to help you today.
You may install a door with this surround. The door width for this model is 56 3/8" or 143.2 cm.

Must the Hycroft surround be installed directly on studs, or can it be installed on a finished wall that is cement board set up for tile?
Thank you for your question, Hoot. This surround is only designed to be installed directly to the studs. We do not currently make a 60" x 30" shower wall set that can be installed onto cement board.

Can this surround be used with the Delta Classic 400 curve tub? I like this surround but not this tub.
Thank you for your question, electricmama! Model B66513-6030-WH can be used with any Delta 60 in. x 30 in. bathtub but can also be used with the classic 400 Curved bathtubs of the same dimension.
