Can I pair the 38" direct to stud walls MODEL#: B67916-3838-WH with the neo ange shower base Model # B879912-3838-WH and the shower enclosure Model # B99912-3838-PC?

There is a piece of styrofoam on the back of the wall with the shelves, what is the purpose of it and does it remain in place for installation?

Will this work with shower doors B911917-3838-PC or SS and round base B711917-3838WH and approximately how think is this product does base sit flush on floor

You may pair the 38" Wall Set, model B67916-3838-WH with the 38" Shower Base, model B711917-3838-WH and the Round Shower Enclosure, model B911917-3838-PC together. The 38" Shower Base is 3 5/8" or 92 mm thick, not including the nailing flange. Including the nailing flange the base is 4 3/4" or 121 mm thick and the base sits flush on the floor. Is there an advantage to a direct to stud versus an onto green board installation? It appears that the readily available model from HD is direct to stud. Thanks

There is not a definite advantage to installing a surround direct to stud versus over green board, although direct to stud models can be more durable and provide more stability. Choosing between a glue up surround or a direct to stud model highly depends on personal preference as well as what has already been installed the home where the project is taking place. I hope this is at least somewhat helpful! We do also manufacture a glue up surround which can be purchased through Home Depot, model B69912-3838-WH, if you are interested. Im installing How critical is the stud locations on the right hand side of the enclosure, specifically the 21" dimension. The closest I can get is 24" due to existing plumbing supplies through the second story.

On page 4, Roughing-in section, the stud placement diagram does not match what is displayed in the rest of the instructions, can you explain under what circumstances the stud placement diagram on page 4 would be used?
