Are the ends closed on this pan, for two wall instillation?

Hello mksyr, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Hycroft™ ProCrylic 60 in. x 32 in. Shower Base and I am happy to help you today. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend installing this shower base directly to studs on two sides only and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We recommend installing this model to studs on all three sides of the nailing flange to ensure the base is fully secured, as shown in the Maintenance and Installation manual: https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/101337%20Rev%20B.pdf If there is anything going forward that we may be able to help with, please do not hesitate to give us a call on our warranty line at 800-355-2721 and we will be happy to help you where we can. What is the weight limit of this shower base?

Hello VernL4! Thank you for your question and are happy to help! The maximum weight would be 300 lbs. The walls and subfloor must be solid, plumb, and square. A 1" base may bend and not be solid. Does the B78513-6032L-WH have a slip resistant floor?

Please note that anti-slip mats left in tubs and pans can cause staining and damage the surface of the tub or pan. If a mat is used, it should be removed after each use. I have a B78311-6032L-WH for a renovation project. After measuring over 60 inc. I see a difference of 1inc with a hill in the middle. Can I still work with a thin set? Which type of thin set are you recommending?

Hi Hartmut, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing with our Delta Faucet ProCrylic 60 In. X 32 In. Shower Base Left Drain In White MODEL#: B78513-6032L-WH. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. Our installation require a level subfloor, is the subfloor is not level than it is recommended to use mortar. If you would like to use a thin set mortar, it would be an acceptable type of mortar and would adhere to the subfloor and base. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer.
