La base para ducha de 32" x 60" Base para ducha con desagüe izquierdo de un solo umbral en blanco de alto brillo diseñada para huecos de 32" x 60". Can this be installed directly on a cement basement floor?

Do you recommend a glue for the base? would a caulking gun be good enough or does it need to be applied by trowel? I found adhesive for vinyl cove base, is that good enough?

Here is a list of recommended adhesives for this application: Recommended Adhesives: DAP® 3.0™ Kitchen, Bath & Plumbing High Performance Sealant Red Devil® RD3000™ Advanced Kitchen & Bath Sealant ECO-BOND® Kitchen-Bath-Plumbing Adhesive and Sealant LOCTITE PL Heavy Duty Sealant Note the intent of the recommended sealants is to provide those that perform best not only as a sealant but as an adhesive, effectively a 2-in-1. •Any construction adhesive safe for plastics would be acceptable in adhering the the walls to the studs. •Any non-waterbased sealant would be acceptable for sealing the seams (Any caulk/sealant that states water cleanup should be avoided). The intent of the list is to provide guidance to products that perform best in-class for adhesion, sealing, and stretch over time. Best Regards, Rosanna

Replacing bathtub to shower only. The bath drain is centered on the back side of the tub. Question: Can one build a platform that raises the delta shower base to a point high enough to run the drain from to new shower drain location to existing.

What adhesive should be used to glue the base to the subfloor ?

Is this shower base non slip and safe for elderly people?

I see that the instructions tell you to drill a 3/16 hole through the flange (not the base). I am weary of drilling through acrylic.  Are there other options that I may use such as adhesive to glue flanges to studs?
