Cassidy freestanding faucet?

Rough in? What is the difference between the R4700-FL and the R4700-FLWS? Which is better for the Cassidy Faucet Is there an alternative to the above? I am concerned with lead in the products above.
Asked by: SC
Hi SC, Thank you for your question. The R4700-FLWS has supply stops that allow you to shut off the water at the valve during installation. It also will accepts threaded supply connections. The R4700-FL does not have stops and requires soldering. These are the only rough-in valves for our freestanding tub fillers. Please know that all of our products meet or exceed industry standards for performance and safety. Best regards, Jon

What's the GPM for the valve and the also the GPM for the high flow cartridge?

Asked by: Jim
Hi Jim, Thank you for your question. The floor mount tub filler flows at a rate of 6-9 gallons per minute with the pressure balanced cartridge and 10-12 GPM using the high flow cartridge depending on your household water pressure. Thanks, Dave

We had a contractor install a Delta R4700-FLWS rough-in valve with a Delta T4756-BLLHP-FL floor mount tub filler trim. The water doesn't come out as hot as the shower or sinks in the same room. Is there a mixing valve in the rough-in that controls this?

Asked by: Greg
Hello Greg, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company. I am sorry to hear that your Floor Mount Tub Filler - Rough MODEL#: R4700-FL is not getting hot enough, which can be very frustrating. I am so glad that you contacted us, so we can get this taken care of for you! The shower unit can be adjusted, I have attached a link to show how to adjust the RLS on our Delta shower cartridges. This will provide the option of hotter water, also, we recommend making sure the water heater temperature is set to 120 or lower. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=By5b7uazCqM Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. There is no measurement for how high the risers can be above the finished (tiled) floor. I have installed the rough in on top of the stringer and worry that the risers might be too long to go inside the T4759-FL Faucet. Please advise

Asked by: Ruthless
Hello Ruthless, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. Please see page 3 in the link below, this has the installation information needed for mounting the rough. Since there are different ways to install, the install sheet provides the thickness of the stringer and the thickness of the finished floor. As long as these measurements are made then the trim kit would adapt properly. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/74821%20Rev%20G.pdf Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance.  Best Regards,  Nicole

Asked by: Gramps
Hello Gramps, Thank you for contacting us! I am happy to help you! To remove the valve from the Delta R4700-FL you will need to remove the handle, trim sleeve, and bonnet.
