RESEÑAS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from sprays water sideways out of the spout Looks nice but it sprays water sideways. It's cheap plastic but costs a lot of money. It has a plastic thing in the faucet that makes the water come out sideways.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from RP 43028 Tub Spout Developed a Leak My guest bathroom Delta tub spout (RP43028) developed a leak due to a crack in the inner plastic sleeve. Leak becomes a stream when the shower diverter is actuated. I caught this early, but it could have been a costly repair if the stream which exited at the backing plate had become bad enough that it got behind the tile.

There is a gray plastic piece in the spout outlet that causes the water to two streams. Is this supposed to be removed when being installed?

Does anyone have a picture of area where water comes out? I have RP43028 and Delta sent me a replacement RP52153 and they look different inside. My RP43028 is only 2 years old, we don't even use that bathtub so there's no way it's a calcium build.

I need to get a tub filler that has a much shorter filler. I purchased a T5759-WL and it is far too long. It would make the free standing tub sit in the middle of our small bathroom. I would like a 2 handle filled with a spout between 6 and 8 inches.

Asked by: Bill
Hi Bill, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about the RP43028! We do not currently manufacture a wall mount tub filler with a shorter spout, and due to the specific installation you are not able to install a standard tub spout either. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Best Regards, Nicole Digital Communications Specialist

I have a tub spout part number RP43028 on order from Torrco in East Windsor, CT. Can you tell me the specs as far as how long the pipe nipple needs to extend from the finished wall to properly engage with the threads in the spout? Thanks, Don

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello Delta Customer, Thank you for contacting us. I am sorry this information is not readily available and I would be happy to help you. The RP43028 takes the adapter RP12307 which would be brazed to a 1/2" copper pipe. Cut tubing with a tubing cutter at a distance of 2-4" from the finished wall. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance.  Best Regards,  Nicole
