Solidly made
solidly built, it appears to be solid brass. The matt black finish is excellent and seems like it will hold up for many years to come. The threads seem strong and should hold up well. Overall very happy with the quality of this product. Other than that it is what it is, a shower arm.

Great Shower Arm
We remodeled our bathroom and wanted a rain drop shower. This shower Arm definitely worked aesthetically and practically. We did choose the oil rubbed bronze. Just try to be aware when you are tightening the arm to the head with metal on metal as much as possible.

Amazing quality and a great price.
We did a bathroom remodel and turned our shower and tub into a double shower. We need longer shower arms so that you would have more room from the wall. These worked great and the matched the brushed mickle perfectly. They are great quality and super easy to install. I was impressed when they showed up in their own cloth sleeves, so not to be scratched. These were the best price I could find for a brushed nickel shower arm and they look beautiful.

Really an improvement
I got and installed two of these 16" shower arms. This is such an improvement. The water now comes straight down instead of in our faces and all over the shower door. Easy to install and a great price, about half the box store price.

Exactly how many inches will the 16 inch arm extend from the wall. I currently have a 14 5/8 that only extends 11.5 inches and it's not enough.
I need the exact measurement from the wall to the point that the arm turns down. The one I have (14 5/8) only extends 11.5 inches from the wall so I'm not sure 16 is enough.
Hi Larry, Thank you for your question. The RP46870 shower arm measures 16" from the end of the threads that screw into the wall to the middle of the the opposite end where the water comes out. How far the arm extends from the wall will be affected by how deep into the wall the female fiting is located.

How long is the drop? What is the distance from the top of the pipe to the bottom of the threads?

I have this arm for the T17253 Vero, there is a small plastic screen set at the end where the rain head attaches that fills with sediment. What is that piece's part number so I can order a few replacements?
