Broke
The Soap dispenser on the sink is stuck and won’t pump anymore. Still looks new but useless since when you try to pump the soap it stays stuck in the down position.

Not the best
Not thrilled with this but needed to fill the hole after replacing my old faucet with a new one that only needed one hole. You can only use very thin soap like for foam dispenser because the tube is so small regular liquid hand soap will not work.

A must have for every sink!
Excellent quality! I use this for my liquid dish soap. It makes it very convenient not having to get out the bottle when I need it. I have an identical one for the other sink that I use for liquid hand soap.

Nice design, but pump no longer pumps
We purchased this pump 7 years ago for our kitchen sink and love its look and scale, but after 7 years the pump no longer works - it's "stuck" in the "down" position. Can we purchase a new pump top only, or must we buy an entirely new item? If we can't replace this top part only, we would not recommend it to others.

Love the look!
We purchased this dispenser with our faucet a couple of years ago. Up until this point it has worked fine. However, now it is sticking and hard to press down to dispense soap. Our entire house is filled with Delta products, which we love, but hate that this dispenser is not working properly.

Nice soap dispenser
Since my new faucet had a built-in sprayer and there was a hole in the counter where the old sprayer was, I bought it. I prefer the look to having a bottle of soft soap on the counter too.

Looks nice but doesn't pump well, never has
Bought this at HD couple of years ago. It looks very nice and matches our faucet great but the plastic pump mechanism is a piece of junk. Doesn't hold a prime so you have to pump it several times and the spring mechanism is weak so you have to wait 5 seconds between each pump. Disappointing. May replace with a moen which neighbor has and seems much better designed.

Love the faucet - the soap dispenser not so much
After little more than a year of use, the black plastic insert on the bottom of the pump handle broke. The only way to replace it, apparently, is to by the entire soap dispenser. This is really unacceptable.

Need a separate bottle
We installed the Single Lever Pilar Touch Faucet in a kitchen remodel a number of years ago and are so pleased with it. The coordinating pump worked for about a year before the bottle neck actually broke off and is not replacable. The intent of having a clearer counter space with this feature is defeated and paying for the entire fixture to replace a plastic bottle is not reasonable.

Replacement soap bottle
We installed the Delta faucet set that includes this soap dispenser during a kitchen remodel years ago. The soap bottle itself failed after a few years and I have not been able to find a replacement bottle. The dispenser is useless without a bottle and there does not seem to be a replacement available. The bottle size seems to be unique as non-Delta bottle do not fit.

Pump barley pumps soap
I have two of these delta pumps in my house and at first they worked fine. After the first one had began barely pumping, I switched them out and it started pumping like it should. As did the first one when it was new. After a few months of use, it done the same thing as the other one. It matches my faucet and would hate to put something different in and faucet too. A lot of money to spend just to pump soap.

Soap pump stopped
I really like the faucet and have had no problem with it but the soap dispenser is the problem. We have owned the unit several years and the soap pump started to take longer and longer to pop back up and now it has stopped working altogether. I have been looking for the plunger part but it is not available...do I have to buy a new soap dispenser? Seems many people have had the same problem...why not make the part available?

Pump Failure
I have two of these less than 24 months old and both have stopped pumping. Nice design but not well suited for pumping heaver viscosity products such as hand soap and dish washing liquid, which is the whole purpose of having these! I do not recommend.

Good Faucet, Bad Soap Dispenser
I've had the faucet and soap dispenser for a few years now. The faucet is fine, but the spigot for the soap dispenser snapped off after a couple of uses. I wish there was a blockout piece or I could just get the spigot and tube, but I don't see any such items in the parts list

Works well, and then it doesn't
So I have the RP50781SS soap dispenser for my kitchen sink. Worked well for about a year and a half, then kablowey. The pump head collapsed. Unfortunately the only serviceable parts are the pump mechanism and the lock nut to hold the dispenser bottle to the sink. I am currently in search of a dealer who has the assembly available.

can a cream type lhan soap be used with this dispenser?

Thank you for your question. Our Delta Soap Dispensers can use liquid dish soap, liquid hand soap, alcohol based hand-sanitizer,and even typical hand lotions. Foaming soap will pump from the soap dispenser but it will not foam.

How to refill the bottle
Can't simply pour soap into top... it just overflows. Do you make some easy way to handle this?
Thank you for your question. We do recommend filling your soap dispenser from the top to prevent bottle breakage from taking the bottle on and off. We do offer a funnel that may make it easier when filling your soap dispenser from the top. Delta Faucet model # RP30395 can be purchased at your local retailer or wholesaler.

Soap Dispenser Instructions RP50781 - does black gasket (part #4) go on top of sink or underneath?
Picture shows gasket above sink, but instructions state to put through hole in sink - which is correct?

Is there a replacement pump replacement that uses foaming soap?
I have a new Delta kitchen faucet that came with this soap dispenser and would like to replace just the pump portion so I could use foaming soap that foams when pumping into my hand.

Thank you for your question. The RP47888 is the only pump made for the Delta RP50781 Soap/Lotion Dispenser. Soap Dispensers can use liquid dish soap, liquid hand soap, alcohol based hand-sanitizer,and even typical hand lotions. We do not recommend foaming soaps, because Delta soap/lotion dispensers are not designed to release foam from them.

I need a replacement soap dispenser bottle for my faucet 4353-AR-DST. Is there a part number?
Also, the handle on mine does not look like the one in the parts list that is shown on this website. See photo.
Hi Tracy, Thank you for your question. The 4353-AR-DST was not offered with a soap dispenser. Only the (SS) brilliance stainless 4353-SSSD-DST, and the chrome 4353-SD-DST came with the soap dispenser. Based on your photograph the soap dispenser pictured is not a Delta product.
