RESEÑAS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic - Beware! Terribly disappointed. Spec sheet for the set indicates made of brass, but the tub spout is 100% plastic. At this price point, that's all wrong. Stay away!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Produce Quality Tub Spouts It's a shame with the quality that Delta produces they manufacture tub spouts that are plastic. I understand the warranty, but the quality and feel is lacking. I have Dryden throughout our home and for a quality line I am left with plastic. Very disappointed. Time to step up your game.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic I've bought many Delta Dryden faucets and accessories for our hotel and have been very happy. However, the tub spout is plastic! I am so disappointed. I wish they had a higher quality product to match this line.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as pictured! I have purchased 3 faucets, a Roman tub trim kit, a shower head and handle all in Venetian Bronze in the Dryden series. Love them but this spout does not match exactly. There is more bronze edging on this piece. It is very distinct, not subtle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dryden Tub Filler The style of the fixture is beautiful but the Champagne Bronze finish is easily marked. We are still working with Delta to resolve this issue and hopefully there is a simple solution.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks nice but feels like plastic I purchased this along with a whole bathroom worth of higher-end delta products. Most of the other pieces have a weighty metal feel to them, but this feels like plastic. It looks nice and functions well. The brilliance stainless finish does have a tendency to spot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from disappointed Looks great until you touch it. Just really cheap plastic. I was expecting all of my Delta product to be a nice sturdy chrome like all of the other delta product I bought. But not the diverter spout for my tub. Very disappointed in that one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great look, but it shows water spots I love the look of stainless steel or brushed nickel as the 'new' finish to give my remodeled 20-year-old bathrooms a modern look. I have problems with this particular item, however. I wipe off the water spots after every use (I know - I am very picky) so they always look new and clean. I have a very hard time getting the spots off this particular finish, but not other items with similar finish.

Does the chrome finish come with spotshield?

Asked by: AA11
Thank you for your inquiry, AA11! The Delta Dryden Tub Spout RP52148SP is the only SpotShield Stainless finish we make. We do not manufacture a SpotShield Chrome finish. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP52148 Best regards, Tanya

When I turn the tub diverter on for the tub spout the pressure builds up and starts leaking at a pretty good rate out of the shower above after about 20 seconds. The flow rate from the spout is less than my water pressure. What will fix it?

Asked by: Craig
Hi there Craig, Thank you for your inquiry! Based on your description of the flow from the tub/shower, you are experiencing an issue known as shower rise. This is an installation issue, which has several possible causes. Please make sure that: 1.The valve body is right side up. 2.The pipe for the tub spout drop is only 1/2" copper or iron pipe. 3.The tub spout is 8” - 18" from the valve body. 4.No drop-ear elbows or push-to-connect fittings are used. Only one 90 standard degree copper or iron elbow should be used. 5.There is no blockage in the pipe (such as excess solder) or tub spout. Best regards, Tanya

Can you tell me if there is a tub spout without the copper highlights on the edges that of the ven bronze that will fit the t17451-rbh20 universal valve preferably not plastic

Asked by: Laurel
Hi, Laurel! Thank you for your question. At this time, all of our Venetian Bronze Tub Spout Assemblies have copper highlights and are non-metallic. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Best Regards, Rosanna

What options to replace a 600 series stub spout?

I'd like to replace my current tub spout that is a 600 series. It has a "ring" you pull down to switch to shower mode. The inside guts where it would thread onto the pipe looks to be about an inch in diameter. Which models would be available to replace this without having to sweat something on or go behind the wall? Would prefer brushed nickle or bronze.
Asked by: Dee
Hi Dee, Thank you for your question. The RP17453SS is the same pull down tub spout you currently have in our Brilliance stainless finish which is comparable to other brands brushed nickel. We have several diverter tub spouts that will screw onto the RP12307 tub spout adapter your current spout uses. The RP72565, RP43161,RP42915, RP34357, RP51503, RP52148, RP53419, and RP61269 are all diverter tub spouts that are available in both the (SS) brilliance stainless or (RB) venetian bronze finishes that will work. Thanks, Dave

Can inside parts be replaced on this item?

For a tiling repair, I removed this spout/diverter. There is a plastic fitting inside that has threads that go onto the nipple from the pipe in the wall and I think I stripped the threads and now the spout leaks. I realize this is not a warranty item but I would really appreciate not having to replace the whole spout/diverter if a replacement part is available. The part in question is the threaded, conical tube in the foreground of the photo.
Asked by: Hank
Hi Hank, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the plastic adapter is not available as a separate piece. The entire tub spout RP52148SS will have to be replaced. Thanks, Dave
