Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk from Delta Plastic and cheap looking. Water spotting is a problem

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Quality One of the worst products you can buy. Low quality and didn't last longer than a few years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Two thumbs ip Works great. A bit square in the design. But over all a great product

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Champagne Bronze is beautiful, but something about this material differs from the rest of the fixtures and it loves retaining water spots. Since the shower faucet is directly above it, it is impossible to keep clean. Still keeping it though. Pretty, but holy water spots!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Water flow is weird and material is plastic 1st, for this kind of money, it is the cheapest plastic you can buy. There is a black plastic insert directly inside the spout causing the water to flow around it not letting it flow evenly. Very disappointed. Can the black plastic insert be removed?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the greatest. It’s very bulky. I am supper upset that it’s made out of plastic. After every shower you have to wipe it as it collects all of the water. I had works doing work on the house and showering in the house now the spout has changed color and I only have it for a month.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn’t work This has a really weird flow, it’s weak and uneven. While trying to figure out why I realized it’s plastic! For the money that is ridiculous. Really sad because now I’m going to have to pay a plumber to install one that doesn’t match.

is the connection on the tub spout right on the back or does it sit a couple of inches into the spout

Asked by: Herbert
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP53419 has the connection at the back of the spout. It includes an adapter assembly which threads into the back of the spout.

The pull up knob on the diverter spins around, but the diverter does function. Is the knob defective, or is there a way to stop it from spinning?

Asked by: Pam
Hi Pam, Thank you for your question! It is normal for the diverter to spin freely. Thanks, Jon

Is there a metal spout that can replace the plasitc one?

Asked by: Kevunique
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP53419 does have a metal tub spout that is similar to it except that it is a pull-down divierter instead of a pull-up diverter. The model number for the metal spout is Delta Faucet mdoel # RP49758.

Temporarily connect hose (i.e. garden hose)

I need to temporarily connect a hose to my tub spout. Given the rectangular shape of the spout itself and the absence of any hose connector for that, I was hoping to unscrew the spout and connect the hose directly to the spout adapter underneath. Would you be able to provide the necessary specs or point me to a hose connector that would work in those circumstances?
Asked by: rtruman
Hi rtruman, Thank you for your question. The RP53419 tub spout threads onto a tub spout adapter RP12307 that either threads onto 1/2" pipe or sweats onto 1/2" copper pipe. You can unscrew the adapter from the pipe threads and adapt the 1/2" male pipe thread to garden hose threads by purchasing a fitting at your local hardware. If the tub spout adapter is sweated on copper pipe you cannot connect a garden hose to the faucet. Thanks, Dave
