RESEÑAS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Buy I purchased this tub spout as part of a kit from amazon, and immediately the diverter did not fully function. The spout was leaky and had poor water pressure out of the shower head. I filed a warranty claim and was send a second unit, which worked great for one shower, then got stuck in the down position and I had to yank it up with pliers to unstick it. now it does not go fully up or down and still leaks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It is too bulky The spout is bulky, the pull up diverter is insecure, and overall we are not pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The spout is sturdy and simply attractive. It works well with our other fixtures and tubular sink faucet.

I have purchased the above item but it doesn’t look like there is an internal O-ring to utilize the slide on method as described.  I see only 2 tiny o-rings....one at the diverter end and one the same size immediately next to it.  Am I missing an o-ring!

Asked by: RJCwake
Hi, RJCwake! Thank you for your question. This tub spout is only designed for a slip-on connection to a 1/2" smooth copper pipe with the set screw as seen on page 5 module 2 C-1 of the maintenance and installation manual (link below). The o-ring inside the tub spout will provide a proper seal. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/68881%20Rev%20M.pdf Best Regards, Rosanna

It is 2017, get your website in order.
Asked by: Brad
Dear Brad, Thank you for your inquiry! The RP73371SS is the tub spout that comes with the Trinsic 14 Series Tub and Shower T14459-SS model. The tub spout will include a brass slip-on adapter (RP33794) that you can remove from the tub spout. The 1/2" copper pipe should extend 2" to 4" from the finished wall. Install the adapter so that there is a 1/4" to 1/2" between the adapter and the finished wall. Tighten the set screw, then thread the tub spout onto the adapter. Please page 5 of the below Maintenance/Installation document link, for these directions. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/68881%20Rev%20M.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Tub spout I purchased, marked 00125-773502 L-2-3, came with adaptor. Manual page 5, C-4, suggests soldering adaptor to copper. But it has an inner O-ring, therefore can't solder. Or is it a slip-on as in C-1? Is that O-ring is enough of a seal?

We have RP73371 spout. Adapter RP33794 included. Instructions Pg 5, C-1 do not indicate using the adapter for slip on install. White insert in spout does not have set screw. Adapter appears to only screw on spout with o-ring toward wall. Is this correct?

I just installed the trinsic tub spout with shower diverter. But when the bath is on, the pressure causes the shower to turn on a bit.  it appears there is a black plastic obstruction preventing the tub spout water to flow freely. Can I cut that out?

Asked by: Mitchellized
Good afternoon Mitchellized, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! The shower rise, or stacking, you are describing with your Delta Faucet RP73371BL tub spout can be caused by several reasons. The tub spout should not be restricting the water and we would not recommend cutting the tub spout. 1) The valve could be upside down. 2) The length from the valve to the tub spout is outside of the 8" to 18" distance. 3) Something other than ½" smooth copper or galvanized pipe was used going to the spout. No push fittings. No "shark-bite" fittings. No cast or drop ear elbows. 4) Something restricting the water flow to the spout, e.g. solder or something lodged in the pipe. If this is the cause of shower-rise it is possible to remove the blockage by removing the tub spout; then, feeding a plumber’s snake or a speedometer cable up through the tub drop. The act of feeding it causes it to twirl and loosen the blockage. Be sure to flush the valve before reinstalling the tub spout. Be sure to check the tub spout itself for blockage. Please reach out directly at customerservice@deltafaucet.com or 1-800-345-DELTA if you have any questions or need additional assistance. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you! Best regards, Bryan
