is this product universal? I thinking buying a highsierra Handheld shower and delta Tub Spout - Pull-Up Diverter Model#: RP83676

Thank you for your question, Leonardo. Since the conical nut on the end of the hose is what rests in the mount, our hand shower mounts will work with any hand shower as long as a Delta hose is used -- or a hose with a similarly designed conical nut. Please note that this mount is only designed to be used as a replacement part for our floor-mount Roman Tub Faucets. Best regards, Jon

What is this made of? Is the part that holds the shower head made of plastic or metal?

Can the hand shower wand be removed and replaced with a cap? I am concerned that the wand may shift and flood the bathroom while filling the tub!

I asked "When set to fill tub, its good. When set for hand-held, water leaks out down the hose. It used to be a drip, but now its a dribble. Guess it needs new washers. What size washers are needed?" Got email with a link, the link says "PAGE NOT FOUND"
