Under that you will find the top of the cartridge assembly, there will be gear shaped piece that is spring loaded and can be pulled forward and adjusted left for hotter and right for colder. There are a couple of ways you can do this and it depends on what you are wanting to do. One way is using the shower arm diverter. You will only need the shower arm diverter, hand shower with hose, and possibly a mount that is connected to your shower wall. Please refer to the examples below.
