I have a Delta faucet on Roman tub. How do I determine what valve I have so I can replace the trim?

Hi Bob70, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T2777. A Roman tub trim without a hand shower uses the R2707 valve rough-in. A trim with a hand shower uses R4707. In general, if the old Delta Roman tub spout has a set screw on the back at the bottom securing it to the spout adapter rough, the old trim can be replaced with a current trim. What is the possible flow rate of this valve at 70 pounds psi

I need to replace an existing spout for a 4-hole stryke deck mount roman tub filler. Will this kit (3-hole) work for that purpose? Or is there a way to buy just the spout? Not sure if it's covered under warranty or not but it's only about 2 years old.

Hi Ryan, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T2777-BL. The spout for a 4-hole tub filler trim includes a lift rod to control the hand shower. The spout included in a 3-hole trim does not have a lift rod. It would not work as a replacement if the hand shower is used. Unfortunately, the spout is not available as an individual part.
