Looking at the Angular 17T Series.....what is the difference between the T27867   vs.   the  T27T867     there is a big price difference. Thank you

Asked by: pattim
Thank you for your question, pattim! The model T27867 is a integrated 17 series shower with combined 3-setting diverter. The model T27T867 is the same type of system however this is a 17T TempAssure series which uses a thermostatic cartridge. This cartridge measures and monitors the temperature of the water and automatically adjusts to maintain a more precise water temperature within ± 3.6˚F. https://www.deltafaucet.com/product-comparison?modelNumber=T27T867&modelNumber=T27867 Best regards, Edward

Hello, I'd like to adjust temperature, but don't know how to take the knob off. Please provide directions. Thanks

Asked by: Sergey
Hello Sergey, Thank you for your question. To remove the temperature knob cover on the Delta Angular Modern T27867-SS shower trim kits, you will need to use your fingers grip the edges of the round portion of the cap and then lift up from the bottom to the top to remove. Please see page 6 module 4 of the below Maintenance/Installation link, for the directions and diagrams. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/92345%20Rev%20B.pdf Best regards, Tanya

can this trim run all 3 items: a rain shower, shower head and a hand sprayer independently? I am not interested in having any 2 run simultaneously.

Asked by: momofaazz
Hello Momofaazz, Thank you for your question. The Delta Angular Modern 17 Series with 3 Setting diverter Trim T27867 is not designed to function three connected units. You would need the T27967 Delta Angular Modern 17 Series with 6 Setting diverter Trim kit for your installation. The T27967 is designed for running 3 individual positions and 3 shared positions. For three individual functions, no shared functions, order additional RP71718 (non-shared diverter cartridge). https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-B-T27867%20Rev%20D.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Goal is to have overhead shower and hand shower work independently or together

Will the T27867 trim and R22000-WS rough in accomplish this? Is an additional cartridge required and, if so, what is the part number?
Asked by: Cecil
Dear Cecil, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the Delta Angular Modern 17 Series Valve Trim with 3-Setting Integrated Diverter T27867 with the Integrated Universal Valve R22000-WS will have the three settings for your overhead shower and hand shower to work independently and together. There are no extra cartridges need for this unit, everything comes with it. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-L-T27867.pdf Best regards, Tanya

I plan to use this for shower head and handheld. I want the handheld to be located to the right of the shower head. Will this valve trim and diverter work? And which rough-in will I need in order to be able to place the handheld to the right? Thx.

Asked by: CTex
Hi, CTex! Thank you for your question. If you're using two shower components, we recommend to use the left and top ports and plug the right port. We recommend this because the 3 setting diverter cartridge will only work for the left and top ports. If the right port is used instead, the shower component that is installed in the right port will not turn on/open. The rough in valve body we recommend for the T27867 is R22000. Best Regards, Rosanna

Looking to get rain shower head (T17253-SS), handshower (55530-SS), do I need the 3 setting diverter w/ valve trim (T27867-SS) or the 6 setting? I assume you need the integrated diverter rough (R22000), elbow square, & shower arm flange for ceiling mount?

Asked by: Michael
Thank you for your question, Mike! Correct, you would need the integrated diverter rough-in valve (R22000), square wall elbow, shower head, and shower arm flange for ceiling mount to install the 3-setting T27867-SS valve trim. Best regards, Tanya

The integrated diverter models have what seems to me an unsightly and vulnerable black rubber ring where the main valve handle meets the escutcheon. Please explain!

Asked by: Lobo
Hi, Lobo! Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T27867 Valve Trim with 3-Setting Integrated Diverter is designed with a valve sleeve in between the escutcheon and handle to prevent water from blow back of water and keep from getting behind the escutcheon plate, into the wall. When the handle is recessed far enough, you should not be able to see the valve sleeve. The photos show the handle at an angle which will show more of the valve sleeve. Best Regards, Rosanna

Hi, I am looking to switch between tub, shower and handshower. The install guide describes using outlet 1 and 2 only. What is the third outlet for?

Asked by: Roland
Thank you for your question, Roland! For a 3-Setting diverter, the right port of the diverter rough-in valve must be capped off. If you wish to use all three outlet ports, please use a trim with a 6-Setting diverter, such as the model T27967. However, please note that we do not recommend connecting a tub spout to the diverter as the flow rate will be reduced when compared with the bottom port of an R10000 valve with a corresponding 13/14, 17, or 17T series trim. We do not make a valve with an integrated diverter that is recommended for tub spout installations. Best regards, Jon

I want to make sure I understand your response to James about having both an overhead and wall mounted showerhead. If I want both overhead and wall-mounted heads AND want to be able to use both, this product, T27867, is appropriate for that?

Asked by: Lea89
Thank you for your question, Lea89! That is correct if you are planning on using a shower head as well as a wall mounted hand shower or second shower head. The T27867 diverter trim will allow you to switch between two functions with the option to use both simultaneously. Please contact us directly if you have questions or need further assistance. I want to switch between ceiling-mounted and wall-mounted shower heads. The two don't need to function simultaneously. Are the T27867 trim and R22000 diverter correct for this application? Any other valves or rough-ins required besides the shower heads?

Asked by: James
Thank you for your question, James! RP71717 Two setting, Non-Shared diverter cartridge can be purchased if you do not want shared functionality however the the Three function cartridge that is included with this trim will give you the option of using either shower head independently as well as both at the same time. No other valves or parts would be needed in this case. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP71717 Best regards, Edward

I bought this with Delta Faucet R22000 Multichoice Universal Rough. When installed water goes to showerhead but not to handheld. Is there a replacement cartridge I could buy?

Asked by: Amit
Hi, Amit! Thank you for your question. If you're only using 2 ports, we recommend to use the top and left ports and plug the right port. If the hand shower is installed on the right port and not the left port, we recommend to change out the diverter cartridge to a 6 setting diverter, RP51919. This will give three blank setting, but your three settings for the hand shower, shower head and a shared setting for both will work. Here is a link to the diverter cartridge: https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP51919 Best Regards, Rosanna

Hello Ryan, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! I would instead recommend the Delta Faucet T27967-BL valve trim with a 6-setting diverter. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/T27967-BL.html The six settings would be for the three shower features plus three shared settings. A 3-setting trim includes a shared setting and should be used when installing only two shower features. Best regards, Bryan

Hello Robin0601, Thank you for your question! We apologize for the inconveniences you are experiencing and will be happy to help you. The Delta Faucet Angular Modern Monitor® 17 Series Valve Trim With 3-Setting Integrated Diverter In Stainless MODEL#: T27867-SS is a 3-Setting diverter, the right port of the diverter rough-in valve (R22000) must be capped off. If you wish to use all three outlet ports, please use a trim with a 6-Setting diverter, such as the model T27967. You would need the integrated diverter rough-in valve (R22000), square wall elbow, shower head, and hand shower. Please note that we do not recommend connecting a tub spout to the diverter as the flow rate will be reduced when compared with the bottom port of an R10000 valve with a corresponding trim.
