Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great look but gets brownish water I bought this for our kitchen remodel based on the reviews. But when i first run the water it gives brownish water and after one pitcher i get clean water. Checked with plumber he said might be the rust inside the pot filler pipe which making it brownish every time i run it for the first time. I have delta faucets in my kitchen and i’m very happy with those but pot filler is not a great option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Customer Service Delta is guaranteed for life - so no questions asked new parts are sent. You can’t beat that. But after numerous calls and posting questions here, I never received a correct answer. So here’s the answer: To replace a valve, 1) You unscrew the grab handle , then you will need an Allen key to unscrew/remove the round part of the handle- from them it’s a Philip drive and wrench to remove the valve. BUT the handle doesn’t come just by grabbing and pulling as it will break 💯- you need an Allen key. The manual doesn’t provide this crucial bit of information ….

Hi, Is the spout on this unit reversible? I am looking for an option that stacks down instead of stacking up but without much luck. Please confirm if this can be assembled in an alternative way so that it could "stack down". Thanks

Asked by: dekordesigns
Hi, dekordesigns. Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the spout is not reversible so that it can stack down. This will only stack up. Best Regards, Rosanna

Whats the difference between the stainless finish & the arctic stainless finish on your pot filler? I currently have brushed nickel fixtures & would like to get as close as possible to match the existing.

Asked by: Kevin
Hi Kevin, Thank you for your inquiry! Arctic Stainless is a brushed finish like Stainless Steel. Over the years, the color of stainless steel used on appliances and sinks has migrated from warmer tones, with more red in the color spectrum, to lighter tones where blue is more predominant. Arctic Stainless features cooler metallic tones, following a trend seen throughout the kitchen. Stainless Steel is has warmer tones, similar to brushed nickel. Best regards, Tanya

I want to install this faucet so that when the faucet is folded up and against the wall it is the center of my wall.

In order to do this I need to know the dimension from end to end when folded flat and the measurement showing the center of where the faucet connects to the wall from each end of the folded flat faucet. (example, the center of the connection to the left end is X inches and the center of the connection to the right end is Y inches). Then I will be able to determine where to make my 1" rough in faucet supply. Thank you.
Asked by: Reed
Hi Reed, Thank you for your question. The aerator will line up with the center of the supply connection when the spout is folded. When folded, the center of the upper arm joint to the center of the supply will be 10.5", and the end of the handle extends past the center of the supply by 2.1". For more information, please see the Technical Specifications: http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/1165lf-ss.html?document=ts&fromDetailArea=kitchen&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper Best regards, Jon

What are the height recommendations for the supply line?

Asked by: Michael P
I am installing 2 inches above my stock pot. Choose your tallest pot that you will fill and then put it at least 2 inches above that. If too high it may splash in your lowest pots (although I think the flow is too slow to be a problem). I can update after I am done and have used it for awhile.

How do you remove the handle to realign it? The faucet is mounted level. Both handles, when turned vertical (closed) are not straight up-and-down. They are both off a few degrees from vertical.

Asked by: Brian67
Thank you for your question, Brian67! I do apologize for the inconvenience with the handle, but will be more than happy to help! The handle on model 1165LF can be removed by pulling it forward. It is held onto the splines by friction. You can hand tighten the cartridge, then turning it a 1/4 turn with a adjustable wrench. Feel free to contact us directly, if you need further assistance. So this morning I found my pot filler leaking at the first pivot point, the at the wall on top of the stem coming out of the wall. It's less than 2 years old, is this normal?

Asked by: Concerned Pot Filling Fan

How do I remove the handle of the Delta contemporary pot filler. I want to clean or replace the cartridge to fix a leak. Do I just pull it off? Is there a locking screw?

Asked by: Peter
After many hours of trying to remove the handle to replace the valve cartridge, we finally talked to customer support and Doug (EXTREMELY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!), actually took the time to go find the product, assembled and disassembled it himself and gave us the solution! The solution: Unscrew the “stem” (the skinny part you use to turn the handle) of the faucet handle. Inside the hole it leaves, there is a set screw which can be loosened with an allen wrench. With it loosened, the entire faucet handle  easily slides off and exposes the valve cartridge. Use a phillips screwdriver to remove the screw in front of the valve cartridge and then use a deep well socket to remove the valve cartridge. Assemble in reverse order making sure to line up handles with valve in closed position before pushing handle into place.
