We are getting ready to install a new back splash & cannot figure out how to get the flange cover to slide away from the wall.  It spins but will not back up.  Thank you.

Asked by: Julie
Thank you for your question, Julie! Model 1177LF-AR will require you to remove a set screw underneath as well as un-thread the faucet. The part you are referring to is a decorative cover that simply snaps in place. Please refer to Page 3, Step E of the Maintenance and Installation manual below for reference. Best regards, Edward

What is the difference between the Arctic Stainless and the Stainless finishes?

Which will go better with my stainless appliances?
Asked by: Kathie
Hi Kathie, Thank you for your question. The Arctic stainless (AR) has a blue tint to the finish which coordinates with many of todays appliances. The Brilliance stainless (SS) has a gold tint to the finish, it is similar to brushed nickel finishes. Thanks, Dave

How high off the cooking surface  does a Delta pot filler need to be  installed to comply with the warranty

Asked by: Angela A
Hi Angela, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 1177LF-PN. There is no set height for a pot filler faucet. Every kitchen is unique. The wall outlet connection could range from 18 to 30 inches above the stovetop. A pot filler faucet should be set at a height that accommodates the tallest pot in that kitchen's collection, is not blocked by the range hood, and the user can reach it. Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

Do both have valves need to be closed to stop water from flowing? On my unit, the bottom valve does not completely stop water flow. With the top valve open & the bottom valve closed, some water still flows. Does the bottom valve cartridge need replacing?
