Modern faucet for reverse osmosis use (drinking water)
I am very happy with this beverage faucet, which I am using as a reverse osmosis faucet for drinking water at the kitchen sink (next to the regular faucet). The faucet design is clean and modern. The finish is pretty. I use the faucet often.

Unbearable air gap hissing
The hissing that comes from the air gap is unacceptable. I'm not talking about the gurgling/bubbling that comes from the sink drain, that is fine. I've got an in-line restrictor on the waste line between the RO system and the faucet and the drain line slopes smoothly directly to the plumbing pipe, but I continue to get an unbearable hissing from the air gap.
Would not recommend if you plan to use the air gap.

Disappointed
We bought a beverage dispenser in 2012 that started to leak several months ago. Delta sent me a replacement faucet that is impossible to install with our filter system that is a Delta PUR water filter system. We have heard this from two plumbers. Having to purchase new faucet and system seems like only option.
Can you help us with an answer please?

Excellent RO air-gap faucet from Delta
Excellent quality all around, and includes a built-in air gap for RO filter systems (like the WATTS PureWater I use). I love this Delta Beverage Faucet
I love having a beverage faucet for my under the counter water filter. So much better than a Brita. Looks great and has a great flow, and the water tastes so much better! Bonus: It matches my new stainless delta trinsic kitchen faucet, so the kitchen looks so put together.

How does this connect under the sink? Can I see a picture of it under the sink? The one I have now is just a small canister with a filter in it, simple to change? Does that one have a filter? Does it come with a filter?

What is metal is this faucet made of? All I can find is zinc. Which would not be good for a drinking water faucet. Please advise. Thank You
