We really wanted to love this faucet
We purchased this faucet after upgrading all of our appliances to black stainless and were pretty excited to get this installed. However once installed we noticed that the pulldown spray head did not match the body of the faucet, so we placed a call to Delta and the customer service lady was awesome and rushed a new spray head out to us and it too did not match (Very strange for Delta) So we are now searching for another faucet and out of the money for this one.. Very sad and in this case expensive trying to chase a look!

Expensively disappointing.
This is the second faucet of this model I have purchased, even after replacing the “diamond seal” cartridge on the first one. I thought perhaps the squeaking and squawking when using the handle was from my kids being aggressive with the handle, it seems this is just cheaply made. For the price I could have gotten a faucet from the supply house that wouldn’t have been a bunch of crummy plastic.
The gaskets also aren’t good for the soap dispenser, the threads should be covered with PTFE tape to prevent leaking from the soap and the collar of “metal” trim seats too far down for the gasket to make a proper seal on my granite counters. Ruined the base cabinet underneath.

Faucet is okay - but shut off is not very good
We like the faucet and features. As others have said, it is difficult to find the perfect "off" position. I find it dripping or streaming once in a while and have to wiggle the handle to the perfect "off" position to turn it off. Our handle is also now making a "groaning" sound (hard to describe) when moved quickly. It is less than a year old. I hope the valve can last longer and this isn't a sign of needing replacement soon.

Great faucet BUT
Seems like it's well built and nice quality. The directions are VERY generic and never even mentioned the sliding weight for spray nozzle retraction. If you're not mechanically inclined could have issues. Also no mention of the size of the water supply fittings. So 35 miles one way for an adapter to make it work. Nice faucet though.

The Black Stainless finish color of the Delta Ashton Pull-Down Kitchen 19922Z-KSSD-DST faucet is a durable, corrosion and tarnish resistant PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finish. You will find that the use of PVD finishes is common throughout our industry and that finish variations are not unique to our products. The PVD process we use in the manufacture of many of our finished products adds the color to our Brilliance faucets and also provides superior abrasion resistance. We attempt to minimize variations in color by utilizing certain control methods. However, differences in sizes, shapes and materials of individual faucet parts can produce variations in color that can sometimes be noticeable to the human eye, despite the controls we have in place.

How do I fill the soap dispenser? Can I do it from the top? Or reach under the sink?
Thank you for your question, Brandy! The RP50781 soap dispenser can be filled either from uninstalling it below the counter or the head assembly can simply be lifted off and the bottle can then be filled from above the counter.

We just purchased and installed the 19922Z-SSSD-DST and are having a problem with the shield feature. It splatters on sink / counter top and spreads some while closing in about 5 or 7 inches down. The regular stream and shower seem OK.
Thank you for your question, Phillip! When using the ShieldSpray feature, please be sure to pull down the wand and place the dish in the center of the bubble area. This should reduce splashing by an average of 90% when compared to a standard spray setting. We recommend using the standard spray setting when the wand is docked. The ShieldSpray feature may be affected by debris in the wand, which can reduce the flow rate. For optimal performance, we recommend that the water pressure is above 35 psi. How do I use faucet adapters with this? For example, if I want to connect a garden hose to it?

Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to install a garden hose to the sprayer of the Delta 19922Z-SSSD-DST Faucet as potential pressure fluctuations during dishwasher operation may result in the hose rupturing.

I need a long hose in my drop down kitchen faucet because I have a very large deep sink. I like contemporary styling. I like the Ahston 19922z sssd-dst, but I fear the hose is too short. What models are best.
