Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Beautiful faucet! The new Delta Cassidy Kitchen Faucet is absolutely beautiful! I received this faucet as a promotional item in exchange for my review. It only took a couple hours to remove and install this new one. It is definitely larger, more durable and extremely powerful in comparison to my old one. I could not believe how fast I could rinse my dishes and clean my sink. The actual faucet doesn’t show water spots and is easy cleaning and maintenance. Did I mention it has touch free options?? I am so glad we got this showstopper of a faucet!

The electric features don't need to be connected to the power, they come with their own batteries! It seems like it's going to be easy to keep clean, the touchless feature is very exciting.

I also love the touchiness feature, it’s perfect when working with meet or dirt hands where you don’t want to touch the faucet. It also has a light that indicates the heat do the water which I love ( blue for cold, red for hot). It was also easy to install.

Love the touchless feature, though find it can be finicky sometimes getting it to start and then is sensitive to stops mid wash. Installation wasn’t too difficult for my husband. Material is decent, but seems to be more plastic than metal. I have to play around with the touchless settings more, but think it will come in handy! It looks very pretty as well.

At what height does the facet start arching outwards I just purchased this facet but i have a window ledge that sticks out 3 in from the wall and a height clearance of only 12 in. I noted the total height is listed 15 but thats to the top after arching.

I purchased the Cassidy faucet last year before the Spray Shield was offered. Is it possible to order just the new spray shield nozzle part and switch it out? If so, is it easy to switch out and do I order it?

Thank you for your question, Leslie! You can purchase and install the RP90839 Wand Assembly with ShieldSpray on an existing 9197-DST faucet. Installation is as easy as unscrewing the original wand from the hose and screwing the new one back on. This part can be purchased online or over the phone at 1-800-345-3358. Best regards, Jon

Is there a way to switch this faucet so the spray goes back to regular flow when turned off and on?

Thank you for your inquiry, Lise! The spray modes on the model 9197-DST work on a toggle type switch. You will move the switch between the stream and spray modes. When you turn the water off it will remain in whatever mode you were using. The faucet does not switch back to the stream mode automatically. Best regards, Tanya

We have had a kitchen faucet 9197-RB-DST for a year. The flow slowed, so I took the head off and cleaned the surface debris off the aerator screen. Is there a way to further break the head down and actually clean the interior? Is this advisable?

Thank you for your question, Jack! A Delta spray wand is not designed or advised to be taken apart and does not contain repair parts. Doing so will also void the warranty. For low flow issues we recommend using the Touch-Clean spray holes, which allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger. You may also want to remove the wand and check that the flow has improved without the wand attached as a blockage could be elsewhere. For further removal of internal buildup in the wand, we recommend pouring a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water directly through the wand, or for stubborn buildup, you may soak the wand in this mixture for thirty minutes. On the 9197-RB-DST model, with the handle upright and the 'H' visible, should this be connected to the hot water line and with the handle down and the 'C' visible should this be connected to the cold water line?

Hi, Biltroche! Thank you for your question. The sprayer assembly for the Delta 9197-RB-DST faucet is non-metallic. All of our current sprayers are non-metallic. This helps prevent heat transfer that could result in scalding and reduce weight. Non-metallic parts are also beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode. I bought this faucet maybe 5 years ago and the button to switch it from stream to spray is not working right. It's hard to switch, and even when it does work, the stream is extremely low. Can I get a replacement for the spray head?

What is the difference between the stainless steel and the polished nickel finished on the kitchen faucets. I do not want a shiny finish and so confused on which one to chose.

The oil-rubbed finish is different in that the copper color is more of a lining and the deep bronze color is within the framing of the copper and Venetian bronze is a deep brown finish with copper flecks throughout it.
