Is there a part number for the plastic gasket?

My plumber installed a piece of copper pipe attached to pex.  At the top of the copper pipe he installed an elbow 90 degree 1/2 inch copper fitting with tapered threads.  Should the tapered thread copper fitting work and seal properly with teflon tape?

How far away from the corner should it be to allow enough room to rotate in installation?

Which direction do you apply the plastic gasket to the wall? Does the raised ridge face the wall or the inside 9f the fixture?

How far from finish wall must the nipple extend

Can I use pex with this product?

Is the 50560SS still available or do we need to use the Lumicoat Stainless for all of the shower fixtures?
