Broken Hinge
Purchased this item on Amazon Aug 15th 2019. Easy install. Fussy lid. Wont stay up. Other day while cleaning I noticed the bolt head had broken thru the thin plastic hinge. Not good....

Seat doesn’t stay up all of the time
When raising the seat it doesn’t stay up without repeatedly pushing it back. It needs an adjustment to tighten it up.

Will this work with an under the seat bidet attachment?

How in the world do I get the tabs up so I can insert the screws?

I didn't want to scratch the plastic. Searching my kitchen drawers I found the plastic gadget for cleaning George Foreman grills. It was thin enough to partially open the tab and I was able to push a screwdriver through.

Is there a way to adjust the tension in the seat? The seat portion does not stay up well. It wants to fall immediately when put up unless it is held in place for a period of time.

About how many seconds does it take to slow close after pushing over from vertical to close?
