Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought a touch Delta faucet in 2015 at a premium price. I have had three leaks since and got good customer support on two of them. I had a bad solenoid this last time and ordered what the Delta rep said to order. Would not work. Called rep and he said that I had to disconnect the wire that plugs into the solenoid. Works now but with no light. Disappointed that Delta does not produce the correct solenoid for my model since the solenoid is prone to failing. It was a RP74855. Can not see buying any more Delta products if they are not going to support the models that they sell. I found a EP74855 on Ebay. Will this make my faucet work as it is supposed to.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Replacement Part Is Okay - I give it 5 out of 10 Well,the solenoid on the touch faucet needed to be replace and I ordered a new one from Delta $170.00. The part came in about 3 days. The instructions only have pictures, and a written description of the part, no written directions. Fairly easy to install, but when I tried to hook up the LED light the faucet would not turn on. When I disconnected the LED light adapter too the solenoid, the faucet would work with-out a light though. I called Delta the next day and they told me I need another part. The Base for an additional cost of $55.00 to make the faucet work perfectly. Why did't they tell me this when I initially ordered the solenoid? Kind of annoyed!

I have a Delta Addison Touch faucet. I am not sure which series I have. It is one of these 3: 9192T-DST, 9992T-DST, or 19922T-SSSD-DST. Is the solenoid part #EP74855 the correct solenoid replacement for my faucet?

When I am running the water and then tap the faucet, the water stops but it drips. I have to turn the water off by the handle to stop it. What part do I need to fix it so it works by tapping the faucet and it goes on and off without dripping.

Hi Walter Fair, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! We recommend flushing the solenoid. Keeping the handle in the off position, remove the clip that is attached to the braided hose on the bottom of the solenoid. After the hose is removed, place a bucket under the solenoid, and then open the handle. It's helpful to have someone control the handle while the other person is in the cabinet with the bucket. We would also advise flushing the hot and cold lines. 1. Please be sure to turn the water supply off before beginning this process. 2. Move the handle to the full mixed position. 3. Disconnect the faucet supply line from the hot side. 4. Position a bucket with the supply line connection inside the bucket. 5. Turn on the supply stop on the connected supply line side slowly, directing the water from the disconnected side into the bucket. 6. Reconnect the supply line. *Please use caution when flushing the hot water.* You'll want to repeat steps 1-6 for the cold side. I have an old Touch 2O Pilar kitchen faucet. The model number is not evident due to wear on the label. Numbers on the box of the controller are 51723WH….. and F0912….  The number on the actual solenoid is 54682 RevA. Is there a replacement that works?

I just need the wire with the copper clip on the end that plugs into the solenoid.  The plumber lost it while doing some remodeling.  Is it available as a separate part?

My faucet has solenoid part # X00074948 with a date of 12/20/2014 v2.7.2. The faucet always turns on via touch, but very often will not turn off. The LED indicator turns off, but the water does not. What would the correct replacement solenoid be?

Slow drip in the "on" position and no drip in the "off" position. It's clear I need a solenoid. A completely new faucet is listed between $250 and $300 and a new solenoid is $181? Is there no cheaper solution for replacing the solenoid?

The EP92546XX solenoid has a white sticker with the number X00090219. The EP92546 solenoid is intended to be used with non-organic finishes, such as Chrome and Arctic Stainless. I ordered a EP74855 to replace the solenoid in my touch faucet.   The install sheet with the product said there would be an "adapter (8)" that would be "included" with the solenoid assembly.   It was not.  How do I get an adapter?
