Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great Purchased item works great, would have thought knowing the size of Delta products they would have supplied the replacement free of charge as is has been upgraded multiple time!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Delta - EP92546 So far so good, my issue was with the original, it only lasted for 24 months, Delta should have upgraded automatically or offered a reduced cost. I hope they have removed all previous models from the inventory! That is Customer Service, not waiting until it is broken!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to replace. Keep the old Solenoid! My original solenoid lasted 7 years. Would have liked it to last longer but replacing it with this part was easy, required no tools, and was complete in under 30 minutes. I've seen some reviews comment about the light on the faucet working differently after replacement. The light on my faucet stopped working long before the solenoid and still does not work. I am keeping the old solenoid because when the touch feature didn't work you could bypass it and make the faucet a standard manual faucet which is what I did for the past year before fixing. I don't think this replacement solenoid can be bypassed so if it fails again the only fix is to replace it with no interim solutions like bypassing the solenoid. The inability to bypass the solenoid if it fails is the only reason I gave it 4/5 starts instead of 5/5.

Base light doesn't work at all on9181T kitchen faucet

Asked by: Richie
Hi Richie, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet EP92546. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help! If the LED does not come on, it may be there’s no power. First, check the batteries. Also, the wires to the spout LED may have been disconnected. Follow the wires down from the spout to the electronics box, double-checking they are securely attached. I recommend unplugging and fully reinserting the wire into the solenoid box. Please reach out directly for further assistance or if you have any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

Have had the touch faucet for about 3 months and it stopped working. Water would not come through. Any ideas other than changing the entire solenoid??

Asked by: Dave G
Hello Dave G, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! If the indicator light on your Delta faucet with Touch2O is working but the water is not flowing, the issue would likely be debris in the solenoid. The solenoid can be flushed by placing a bucket below the solenoid, putting the handle in the off position, and removing the hose below the solenoid. Now water will flow into the bucket when the handle is open and the solenoid is open. Run hot water for three minutes into the bucket. During this time touch the faucet quickly about ten times to open and close the solenoid.  We would also recommend cleaning the filter basket at the top of the solenoid and resetting the electronics by removing the battery cap and replacing the batteries with new, non-rechargeable batteries. Please reach out directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Best regards, Bryan
