Hello Valued Customer, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! You will need an adjustable wrench, a towel, and bucket. 1. Please first turn off the water supply to the faucet. 2. Remove the handle by holding onto the lever and rotating the base counterclockwise 3. With the wrench, thread the bonnet nuts counterclockwise to remove them. 4. You will expose the brass stem units. Please take a photo or take notes on how these are oriented. It is recommended to flush the unit before installing new parts. I will provide directions below. 1. Place a towel around the backside of the faucet. 2. Place the bucket over the top of the towel, and ask someone to hold on to the bucket. 3. Turn on water supplies and flush the water for about 30 seconds to a minute. 4. Shut off water supplies and proceed to put the new parts in. Typically, the quarter-turn stops on the left (hot) handle will be on the front side (close to you), and the right (cold) handle will be on the backside (away from you). If you reinstall the handles and find that they aren't turning in the right direction, rotate the stem 180º and check for proper handle rotation. We appreciate your inquiry.
