Can't work without this!
Our contractor didn't leave this for us after installation. Make sure you have this to release the nut if you need to. I just ordered one, can't release without it.

Nut didn't fit and wrench broke
I ordered the same part # as the manual and it did not fit. The wrench cracked at the top by the time of got the old nut off.

Did the Trick
Trying to get to the tightening nut on this faucet is pretty much impossible with the special tool. With the special tool, it is just a matter of removing one quick release water line, then slipping the tool over the long threaded bolt and tightening the nut. Very simple even for an "unhandy man" like me.

made the job a snap.
Without this part removing the nut took 30 minutes. With it took 2 minutes. It wasn't necessary to the job but it made it very much easier. When lying under the sink in a rain of particles with arms up every second counts.

Replace bracket that holds faucet to sink
Shipping was prompt, tracking number was provided but product arrived so quick never used! You have to have this part if you have to replace or tighten the bracket/nut that holds your faucet controls to the sink. The hard part is arranging your body in the sink cabinet so you can see what you are doing and removing the water connections to allow you access. Now I know why plumbers make such an hourly rate!

Delta mounting socket
This did exactly what I needed (once I worked my way under the kitchen sink ) Took me longer to take everything out and put it back than it did to tighten my faucet back down.
Excellent service and delivery times on my order .I will order again next time I need something.

I am installing a Delta Model 3575 bathroom sink faucet. Will this wrench work with this model? Do the tubes fit through the wrench?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP11722 will not work with your 3575 bathroom sink faucet. This wrench is used on kitchen faucets to tighten the nut down.

Will the attached part work for a nut that needs an 11/16 wrench?
I asked this questions and the response did not answer my question.
The response was the wrench 1/4-18 NPSM, this does not tell me if it works with a nut that requires an 11/16 wrench.
Can you please tell me if I have a Delta faucet which has a nut that has an 11/16 inch wrench fit around it, with this wrench work.

Hi Nick, The outside dimension of the hex nut is .669", the inside diameter of the wrench is .679". An 11/16" wrench would translate to .6875". If you have a Delta faucet this should be the proper tool to remove the nut that your 11/16" wrench fit over.

Is there a difference between the Delta tools RP 11722 and Delta RP 60924? Are the socket sizes the same? I have a Delta Model 470 pull out kitchen faucet. Thank you
Thank you for your question, Bob the plumber! The RP11722 wrench is for a .669" Hex nut and is used on the original Signature 470 series. RP60924 is for a .948" Hex nut. It is made to unscrew the 15/16"/.9375 nut, part number RP40526 found on DST pull-down models.

What size nut does this wrench work with
I have a Delta kitchen faucet (I have not idea the model number). I can fit an 11/16 wrench around the faucet but there is not room to turn it. Does the above wrench work on an 11/16" nut? If not is there another wrench that will fit?

what size it the nut on a Delta kitchen faucet, it is a 10 year old Allura I believe. I need to purchase a crowfoot wrench to secure the nut better. The faucet is loose and can turn some.
