MODEL#: RP12691 Delta Chrome Spacer. In order to clear the frame of the tub I had to bring the tub spout out further and now I have a 1 inch space between back of spout and wall. Will this work and how does it attach?

Hi Laura, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about RP12691! Unfortunately, this will not work for the installation you are speaking about. The spacer is used under the kitchen sink faucet when tightening down the faucet to the counter. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance.
