RESEÑAS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from The problem is... Excellent faucet for 15 years, set screw shaft is its weakest link. CANNOT be tightend enough. Handle loose, tightend screw, put back on, still loose. Removed handle, drove screw to its full stop in the shaft's handle, still in my hand. BUT, the screw's shaft apparently has a stop of its own preventing further depth so handle remains wobbly. A 25¢ problem wrecks an otherwise great $300 product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice I bought this last week and received few days after. When I installed to my Delta Faucet handle (Tub/Shower -134900 Series-) it was too loose. Although it fit but the handle still wiggle.I presume this is not a correct set screw for the handle. I would not recommend for the Tub/Shower (134900 Series)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lost it! Found it! My son told me I could find anything I wanted on the internet. SO... The shower in my apartment had some kind of governor on it and was WAY too cold (93*). I looked up the shower on the Delta site and found out how to re-set the governor that is under the shower handle. In the process, I lost the set screw out of the handle. (cover you drain with a cloth or paper before you start!) I found the replacement part number on the same set of instructions and ordered it. It was here in 2 days and I could not be prouder that I did this myself! Who says a 55-year old woman can't learn something new!

i got the screw out, how do i take the handle off?

the handle seem to be stuck i tried pulling it off and i couldn't
Asked by: paul
Thank you for your question. Once the set screw is loosened, the handle should pull off. It is possible that mineral deposits have built up around the handle. We recommend a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water soaked around the handle to loosen the deposits.

I need to take off the handle and plate to readjust the temperature setting before it burns me - it has drifted over the last year. I have been thru all of my Allen wrenches and none of them fit. What size is this

Asked by: Gerald
Thank you for your question, Gerald! The set screw RP152 will use a 1/8 inch hex key, however, please know that this is not always the set screw used on all 13/14 series shower handles as they are sometimes model specific. To be sure this is the correct set screw, please refer to your original owners manual. If you need further assistance, please contact our customer service team directly at 1-800-345-3358 Monday-Friday: 8a.m.-8p.m. EST and Saturday: 9a.m.-6p.m. EST or via email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Hi Tavi, Thank you for your question. If the head of the set screw is stripped., it can be drilled out. We cannot recommend a particular extractor kit. Thanks, Dave
