Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta Button - Good Low Cost Product Replacing the Delta Button on several 20 year old sinks made them look like new, clearing away the sight of corrosion and stains in the Button on the sink faucets The product was very easy to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from exactly what I needed Item came in a very timely manner. It was exactly as shown on the website and fit my faucet perfectly. It now looks like I have a brand new faucet and all that was replaced was the Delta top in the middle of the handle.

Replacement Button for Bathtub/Shower Handle Model RP17451

Not sure of manufacture date of bathtub/shower handle. House was built in 1979. The model showing for manufacture before 1995 has the hot and cold going in the wrong directions. Will Delta Faucet Button RP17446 fit Delta Bathtub/Shower Handle Model RP17451?
Asked by: Birdwatcher
Hi Birdwatcher, Thank you for your question. RP17446 is the correct button for the RP17451 handle. The RP2411 is used for older handles (RP2391) manufactured prior to 1995. The handle will operate the same -- rotate up to turn the water on, clockwise for cold, counter-clockwise for hot. Best regards, Jon

I have just cleaned my faucet handles.  The buttons are fine but the "delta" silver disks are tarnished I need 6 disks. Am I able to buy just the silver disks?

What is the measurement Of this button? I need one to fit a sink handle Thx

Asked by: Kphil
Thank you for your question, Kphil! The RP17446 button cover is 1 7/16" in diameter, however the hole in the handle should measure approximately 1 1/2" across and should have a diamond shaped opening for the ball valve stem. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP17451 Best regards, Edward

Are all the plastic buttons (caps) for the classic Delta single handle faucets the same size? Mine is an older model and I'm not sure of the model num

Asked by: O
Hi O, Thanks for your question! The RP17446 cap will fit on single handle clear knobs manufactured after 1995. If your faucet was manufactured prior to 1995, single clear knob handles use the RP2411. Thanks, Jon

How do you remove the button on these faucets for cleaning inside. Faucet works great still, but need to get inside to clean. Some mold buildup. Can't figure out how to get the button off. Don't see any obvious notched area to remove it.

Asked by: Carman
Hi, Carman! Thank you for your question. The RP17446 can be removed by getting a flat head screwdriver or something flat, like a butter-knife to pop or pry the button off of the handle. Best Regards, Rosanna

Help please!! Need a button insert for handle 92512 or the whole handle.

what was the button number prior to the RP2411 and the 17446? No joke! I have a Delta faucet that's been in service for I'm guessing 30 plus yrs. Not one iota of a problem except trying to find a replacement button or handle. The faucet is a single handle push pull with a number 92512 stamped on it.
Asked by: Jim
Hi Jim, Thank you for your question. I'm sorry for any issue with your Delta faucet. The RP2411 button should fit single handle knobs prior to 1990. However, we do not make a faucet with a push/pull handle. Best regards, Jon
